Jeaux, I'm with you, MKT701 doesn't seem all that bad at all. No book, and the reading information (at least for week 1) is very short and simple to understand. At least at this point I'm not sure how difficult the exams could be (Hopefully I'm right!)

Just finished up this weeks ACCT 701 work. There was not much to it. I can see that going forward that he can/will "stump" people without any accounting background or math background. Missed one question on the quiz and it was due to how he worded it and how I interpert it in the actual day to day accounting world. Good Luck everyone!

Is there more to ACCT than just reading the 3 chapters of the text and the PPT? I feel like I'm missing something.

AstroTiger, with open notes and generous time limit that should suffice.

GSMBA I finished the module the same way as you. I was stumped on one of the questions on the quiz.

Fwiw I figured out those True/False and M.C. Practice questions at the end of the chapters is where he pulls the quiz/assessment questions. Should make perfect scores. Also, anyone thinks he'll deviate too far from how the questions are for the exams?

Best advice for Vines 701? how are his test laid out?
Posted on 8/29/17 at 8:03 pm to Multis10
I've had Vines for 730. Read and learn the reading guide. Highlight important details. Any problem he assigns, work and learn it. He'll pull problems from the guide and change numbers.

Whoa BREES... nice catch. Exams will probably be the identical questions from the assessments based on what we've seen so far.

9BREES9, you made my day! What a great discovery about the ACCT 701 source of questions. Thanks, dude.

Hi brentb71,
In MADM 715, did her exams mostly come from the information the text highlights to answer the embedded practice questions? Or does she draw questions from every section of the text? Just trying to see what I should focus on.
Thank you!

Is she still using McGraw-Hill Connect?
She draws from every section. Even the sidebars, cases, and exhibits in the text. Connect had a practice quiz and I would answer the max amount of questions it allowed until I could get 100%. The exam questions were NOT identical to those, but knowing and understanding the answers will definitely help. I think she writes her own questions for the exam.
