Garage Door Replacment

Anyone have an idea on how much a new double car garage door would be? We just need the five front panels replaced.

Edit: Would be a metal door, not insulated.
I will give HD/Lowes a try, just didnt know if someone on the Board could give a quick answer.

Depends on alot of things ....metal/vinyl...insulated/ non insulated. Just call home depot or lowes for a quote and typically the install is pretty cheap if you get their independent contractors to do it.

I got 2, single car, insulated doors replaced a few years ago for just over $1000.
I cannot recommend insulated enough, but my garage is partially underground so that makes a difference too.

Nah. Maybe if he had a really nice insulated door or something. You can buy a basic non-insulated 16x7 door for $450 at Home Depot and it's nothing to slide a new one onto existing tracks and hook it all up. I bid on them all the time for banks on their repo assets and have my subs do them.

I had my double garage doors replaced for $700.00. New panels, rails,new gears in opener. etc.

my neighbor had his replaced recently. I believe the panels were in the range of $1000.
