The “de-risking” part makes me think that 6 months of column testing is essential before anyone will finance construction.

So does this new PR mean that the 6 months of column testing is no longer needed in your view?

Folks that has been asking for more proof the tech works, does this latest PR satisfy that? Sounds like the info in the PR was validated by an independent third party.

It’s hard to say. The new PR says that the column’s performance has been “validated” and doesn’t reiterate the 6 month testing timeline so who knows how long it has to succeed for financer/partner satisfaction.

Either way, I would think that grant and royalty decisions have to come before investment decisions.
Hard to come to terms without knowing if royalty is 2% or 12% or if you’ll be getting a free $100M+ or not, I’d imagine.

This is good news but did they really have to use the “slay kween” clapping emojis? ev you need to run their PR

News like this makes me want to add at such low prices. It appears that the tech works and work pretty well. My guess is that XOM is going to use SLI or IBATF.

Is there a logical explanation for how this news may have impacted their decision to withdraw from the hearing on royalties?

I think it was FeMike who made the point that Phase 1A is just a glorified demonstration plant since it is such a small operation. So its main utility was to prove out the tech while making a little money. But hey, if they're proving out the tech at the demo plant with this new commercial-sized DLE column, maybe skip Phase 1A?

On paper it wouldn't be terrible, but for credibility/time to production it might.

Have we quit “Diving deeper”? Up 6.78% today, 17.76% in the past week.

All I got is that the annual meeting is scheduled for June 27.

And that a guy on another forum says he talked to someone "close to the situation" who says that the royalty will be 2% of gross revenues and that Exxon, SLI, ALB, and Lanxess are working together on it. Would be good but I'll believe it when I see it at this point.

Anyone else?

I'm flopping around near the surface gasping for air.

ETA-I need 1776% to get me excited at this point. That would be a good return by July 4th.

Mmm yeh Chevron buyout…love it when you talk dirty.

Really strong day today considering the rest of the lithium market was solidly red.

I don’t know what news is next, I don’t think it’s “soon”, but if we’re just talking short term optimism it looks like $1.49 is a nice technical breakout target. If we can fight our way there, might see a quick technical run back to $2.
