I went with Coinbase Pro. Why do you trade vs USD instead of USDT. Which is the better choice?

That’s just my preference. It has more pairs than USDT if I’m not mistaken, at least on BinanceUS. Using a stable coin is not a bad choice though. It’s Just easier for me to deal with transferring in and out of binance straight to my bank.

kucoin is the best exchange outside of regular binance. Coinbase pro would be after that.

I thought Kucoin was not available in the US. I'm struggling with this as well. Located in Texas so Binance is not an option.
I've looked at Kraken, Coinbase and Gemini. Kraken doesn't facilitate DCA bots so it seems like Gemini is my only option outside of Coinbase.

sign up with kucoin, just dont do KYC. cant withdraw more than a BTC a day so for most that wont be a problem.
use the 3commas bot through it. im in Louisiana and use both daily.

Yeah I'm currently trading in USDT and I think USD would have been the better option (on Coinbase at least). About half of my trading pairs are USDT with some utility token.

Coinbase Pro is a good alternative, especially if you already have a Coinbase account. Moving crypto between Coinbase and Coinbase Pro is free. Also, it's better to buy through Coinbase Pro instead of Coinbase as fees are lower. Use Coinbase to keep track of crypto prices (much better UI) and do the actual transaction on Coinbase Pro.

The fees on Coinbase Pro suck but unfortunately, that looks like the best option if you're in Texas and want to roll legit.

Yes! There is an add funds option that you can add extra funds if you have one running up. This past Saturday, my Mana bot was going off every few minutes. I kept adding funds to each deal when I was in front of the computer. Ended up making over 1k that day. I only do that when I can really watch em closely. I don’t want to add a bunch of funds at a super high price. Makes it harder to DCA it back down.

There are several crypto bots out there. Not sure which exchanges they use. I was kinda hoping to hear from people that were using something besides 3 commas. Im still relatively new to bots, so there may be another way to do these that may be more profitable.

So do I setup a Binance account and just buy a few hundred in the coin I want to set the bot up for then set up the bot and it recognizes that, or do I sign up with Binance, setup the bot, and then fund a few hundred dollars through the bot on 3commas?

I already had a BinanceUS account, so I just transferred cash to it. I opened a 3 comma’s acct. I used the settings following the youtube video below to start them. 3 commas links to your binance account thru an api number. Again, all this is explained in the video. Once 3 commas is connected to your Binance acct, it will take over the buying and selling depending on the settings you create. If you don’t want to purchase the plan, and try it for free, watch the second video below. You can make a composite bot that will let you trade 5 different cryptos with the same settings. If you want to purchase the program, I would purchase the one that is $24/mo or $300 yearly. It’s not the most expensive plan, but it will let you make as many bots as you want.
