DirecTV only goes out at my house when there is a storm that is so bad that I probably shouldn't have the TV on. We do have clear line of sight from the dish.

I also want to share this 30,000 united miles for Direc TV. Since I'm moving next week I think I might just do it. I figure if the signal goes out I have plenty of ways using internet to cover the gap.

They also have a 25k AA bonus.

Interesting... Do you get the promo pricing on packages in addition?

My most recent 1yr commitment is up in the next few weeks. Trying to figure out my next play.

Looks like promo pricing for 12 months on a 2 year contract.

I gotta start planning out a trip... I have 75k sapphire points and then another 9k with United.

The 9k expire in Oct.

Have you joined rewards network for United? Helps with that sort of thing if there is a restaurant you enjoy on the list

You could always transfer 1k from CSP to extend the expiration date

if i hit the spend limit and get my points on the chase ink but then return the product, would they take the points away?

Is this something you are considering doing just for the sole purposes of getting points or curious because you are about to return something and don't want to get caught in a bind?

Usually it depends on how the store refunds the purchase. If they refund the purchase to a store gift card, then you keep the points, because the transaction still stands.

However, if its a full return and they credit the credit card back, then you should see those points come off (SUPPOSED), even if it sends you negative in points balance.

Ah. You could purchase, get points, move the points, and when you return, go negative.

But I wouldn't make a habit of that.

For a spend bonus, I'd make sure I am securely in the bonus regardless. My fiance kept returning clothes, which made me hitting her Barclay's number on the nose a real pain in the arse

I decided to go over by 1 to 2 hundred just to be sure.

my Arrival Plus came in today and it's purty! I was expecting it to be darker but it's mostly a matte finish with a blue "wave" effect which comes together nice. The new plastic material reminds me of the Discover It. My old Arrival bent entirely too easy.

Sooooo tsa precheck is pretty sweet. My fiancee and I somehow got into the line at BOS and we didn't belong there. Walked right past all the commoners. Like a boss

I appreciate all the plugs they have. Fly back up here on Friday for wedding #2.
