Biotech continues to drop; GILD on sale

Investors still scared after Hillary Clinton's tweet. GILD is a strong company and a great mid-long term play IMO.

I agree. I still see GILD as a good long term hold. It's just in a sector that's under populist attack right now, thanks to the greasy buzzard, Martin Shkreli, that runs Turing Pharma. Valeant Pharmaceuticals is also taking a massive hit as I type.

I tried to bump that thread and make that comment as he called it a "safe" short term play. I wanted everyone to get their last lol at him, but it appeared as that thread was locked and gone.

Yeah, I think my counter to his advice advice (really as a joke) was investing in a short biotech ETF. Wish I would have done that, LABD has been on a tear recently!

That wasn't a legit poster, just a rando bouncing around Money boards hoping people are as idiotic as he is. Was pretty clear from day one, a true "LSU alum" and "big football fan" that's clearly not afraid to embarrass himself should be all over the Rant by now.
Shkreli could end up dead sooner rather than later. That douchebag may have buried the entire sector through the conclusion of this next election cycle. It's sadly ripe low-hanging fruit for populists.

He creeped me out a bit in that thread. It was cool to talk science but toward the end it started to get a little strange.
