I think when the leader of the team puts himself in that position, his competition that's inexperienced yet substantially more talented deserves the start against a scrub to prove his worth. Now if that actually happens, who knows

Personally I think it's smart to start Harris for the McNeese game whether Jennings deserves suspension or not. After the way Jennings played all year, and given that the opponent should be a pushover, start the younger guy and see if he's turned a corner.
If Harris flops, then you can turn to Jennings. But he and the whole team deserve to see if there is a better option at the QB spot than what Jennings offered up last season.

He'll dress. But I don't think he plays a whole lot in game 1. Which will give BH a great chance to show what he can do early.

It comes down to qb production shown in the next 3 weeks. I assume that both will get reps, and Harris has the chance to cement his position, as does Jennings. If Jennings does start, my OPINION is that LSU, and Les, is in for a long shitty season. We had a belly full of that last year.
I do believe that Jennings should have to undergo some kind of punishment for his stupid decisions, but what I believe is worth ZERO.
There is NO DAMN REASON that LSU should be having this kind of quarterback circus! If they can't trot a legitimate quarterback onto the field and produce some results, some heads should roll and some changes should be made. I support the Tigers, and will cheer the whole season, but this is getting ridiculous.

I don't care WHO it is. There should be more consequences than sitting out the summer, if for no more than making the point that his behavior is totally unacceptable.

Les only legitimately splits reps like that when he wants the backup to be the starter. So yes, expect Jennings to be inserted in the 2nd half of McNeese with a quickness.
