Does it really matter?

So in your opinion and many others' out there, if a punk on the team acts like a punk, puts himself and others in a potentially deadly situation , maybe hurts, or at least threatens someone and the charges are dropped because of who-knows-why(?), y'all don't have a problem with there being no consequences?
Maybe you and others will be the same guys screaming at Miles the next time we have an ""incident" because, and I quote, "Miles has lost control of this team."

This is true.... No need to suspend him just make him sit the bench for a half...... IF he has caught up with ANY changes on offense they have made which is probably ZERO.... He will play the 2nd half and then will start the rest of the year...........

How do you know there are not any consequences?

Just because there may be no visible to the public consequences, doesn't mean Miles isn't giving them some form of punishment.

A suspension against McNeese means nothing. It would be to just appease the idiots in the crowd.

I don't know what imbecile down voted your response, but you're absolutely right. LSU doesn't have the luxury of 3 cupcakes in a row to get ready for the meat of the schedule this year. It's one cupcake game and then MSU, Auburn, and Syracuse. There's no time to play around with suspending for a quarter or two. Whoever starts the McNeese game will be the starter for at least 4 games, if not the whole season.

I wonder how many of u thats saying no because charges were dropped or calling me dum, has ever played competitive sports? Not tee ball, summer league pop waner or any other thing that everyone gets a trophy. I'm talking about tournament ball ,AAU, or high school sports. If u did u would understand that if u make a stupid decision that keeps u away from your team for the summer, while they work together as a team. U should expect to be disciplined. I know I would.

I have.

That is why I'm aware that the worst punishments are the ones that public never sees.

I don't think most of us have all the facts. Robinson and Bain's apparently being involved and their subsequent actions are interesting to say the least. Clearly stupid decisions were acted out but bad choices do not always bring about criminal actions in the law. I'm sure some sort of team punishment will be delivered: however, not knowing all the circumstances makes it difficult to determine the justice of the severity of that punishment. Bain leaving and Robinson's situation, which looks like it has changed with LSU, leave curious signs.

I would rather see Harris start. But if Miles wants Jennings to be the starter, he needs to let him get 4 quarters in against McNeese. Even if it's a blowout by halftime.

With any luck, his arse will be holding a clipboard all season.....but I'd settle for the entire McNeese game.

The worst thing that could happen would be to go into Starkville with the starter qb as though it's game one because of sitting in timeout when he should have been getting the kinks out.

He did something incredibly wrong. He should be suspended the same amount regardless of what the prosecutor decided. Many innocent people go to jail, and many guilty people walk free. Our legal system is not a good indicator or who has done right or wrong.

Do you not understand the suspended from the team concept? That is a punishment.

T-Bob was suspended for a DWI. His charges were not dropped. He went before a judge and plead guilty to the charge. Was he a punk too? He didn't miss a game.

He should have.

You're really asking is T-Bob was a punk?? The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

WHOA cowboy... Bobby Herbert was no punk... One of the best qb's in Saints history.. Now if you wanna NOT like him because he tells it like it is in his radio show that's fine.. I love him when he is a bit TIPSY on air...........
