Was that the duke game? I spent three years trying to talk my brother into going to a game with me. I think it was the duke game he finally agreed to attend. A bunch of students caped out on the ramps. Game day was cold as shite and rainy. We got in line and waited and waited and waited. About 30 minutes after tip off a student worker came out and announced they sold the student seats and we weren't getting in. My brother never went back.

How anyone could be miserable in a cool climate controlled building with all seats having chair backs is beyond me. I mean the seats are hella cramped, but not enough to dull my sparkle.

Basically, the only way to be miserable is to have a bad experience due to game play or having some a-hole next to you ruin your day somehow.

My worst memories of Tiger Stadium are generally from wins, not losses. They're from games when the weather conditions were simply so damn miserable that it made watching the game a struggle.

Tearing down the basketball court and setting up my own graduation. Was there till 230 AM working, and had to be back for graduation at 730.

ETA: Oh and watching Bo Spencer jack up God awful shots ad nauseam in 09/10.

I was there. This is the only correct answer. The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat all in one night.

Losing to South Alabama a couple of years ago under Trent sucked balls. Especially since we beat #10 Marquette a couple of weeks before and had a chance of going to the tourney... Can't thank TCU enough for hiring Trent

I went to a womens game once. a big one against Tennessee back in like 2006 or somewhere around there. Place was packed. Honestly couldn't tell you if we won or lost or anything about the game b/c it was so miserable watching a womens basketball game. I don't think we even stayed until the end.

Went to a gymnastics meet once. Watching women do gymnastics was much more enjoyable than watching them play basketball.

Three come to mind:

1980 Kyle Macy buzzer beater in season finale gave Kentucky regular season SEC title - Tigers won sec tourney next weekend

Dwayne Schintzius & Vernon Maxwell beat Tigers in 1988last home game depriving LSU & Chris Jackson an SEC title. Fans pelted the floor with debris

1982 Tennessee won with last second put back only after clock malfunction or operator error gave them an additional 3 seconds and refs refused to correct the error. SEC office also allowed score to stand. Loss probably ruined Dale's best coaching job as the loss cost them a shot at a third SEC title in 4 seasons.

Camping out for the Duke game. We camped for several days and then the day of the game everyone bum rushed the ramp and almost everyone lost their place in line. Then as we waited to get in, we were all cramped on the ramp in the sun. It was miserable. To top it all off, we lost the game.

I'd have to say my most memorable PMAC experience was volunteering there for 3 days following Katrina. Kind of hard to look at the building the same after that.

Feb 16, 1994 - agreed it was the most miserable but Todd Day dropping 40+ a couple of years earlier was also pretty bad. I couldn't stand that Arkansas team.

Tulane beat LSU (83-72) in the 1982 NIT. Awful, I hope no LSU fan experiences this kind of humiliation.

Xavier 09, first packed house in ages and the game was never in question, Xavier won by ten.

That was NOT a bad game and yes, the game was in question. We had a shot to win that one. We led at the half.

Mine: Losing to Illinois at home 100-127 and having Illini fans sitting behind me making fun of LSU. I was a kid. I could do nothing. They had Kendall Gill, Marcus Liberty, and Nick Anderson. We had Chris Jackson. I'd like to know where those smug Illinois fockers were on January 1, 2002, though.
