Les Miles deserves a lifetime contract for his recruiting ability. The fact he won the 2007 BCS National Title is only the cherry on top.

I vote for him to stay. Yes he has some deficiencies. Clock management being his worst offense. But EVERY coach out there has deficiencies...
Things I love about coach LM is his character. We don't have a scumbag running our football team like a lot of other schools do. To me that means a lot.
And in his defense he gets accused of a ton of stuff that isn't true. His press conf. are useless. People quote him and say he is clueless etc because of stuff he says when it is all a smoke screen.
For example when he said something to the effect that our offensive line was going to be the best ever, he knew damn well that they sucked. But people call him clueless because of it. When all along he was just trying to bolster their confidence and keep other schools from exploiting our weakness for as long as possible.

im starting to doubt that his interviews are really a smoke screen. his coaching leads me to believe it might just be he isn't that smart.
