That was an awesome read, finished it earlier today. A quick internet search says his net worth is 4 million and he’s coaching football. Life is good for J-Rock!

It’s kinda like the “better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all” mindset for me. At least he got to fly close to the sun for a while and has a good chunk left.

That's what it was, 32.I think the QB from OU that won the Heisman a few years later got 60 guaranteed. (His name escapes me at the moment, Sam maybe. Oft injured, played for the Rams.) Either way, I wasn't knocking him. Proud actually. Lived life to the fullest for the better part of 15 years, and I actually hope he has set himself up with future earnings. He would be good to have around the program too.

I saw him around January at the Scarlet Pearl in Biloxi at 10am playing craps in sweat pants and house slippers. I was sort of worried about him, glad to hear he is actually doing alright.

He was a phenomenal college QB at LSU. Obviously not as good as Burrow at LSU, but he’s in the conversation for great LSU QB’s.
