Considering we were down 20-0 to the #10 ranked team with one of the best defenses in college football early in the 1st half. Us knowing what type of offense we have, I'd say we are lucky half the crowd did't walk out. I came close to going lay down and take a nap! Of course, I'm glad I didn't

It is shameful that our fans can't be more supportive. We are 5 and 2 w wins over two ranked teams the last two weeks. We are Not the fans we should to our players. Go to the game. Stay until the end.

Go sit your happy arse on the east bowl. Lets see how long you last.
Blame the assholes that schedule a Day game in 90+ degrees.
There is a good reason LSU traditional plays night games.

Lack of people there is something to be expected. The ones that pay for season tickets are there for entertainment. Pure and simple. If someone is not entertained, they change the channel (aka leave the game). It has to be expected. You're down 20-0. 23-7, and it's hot as hell, you just wont stick around. I had my 8 year old step daughter at the game and I was very close to leaving. We stuck it out and we were able to witness a hell of a game. LSU players just have to realize that we're there to watch a game. That's all, a game. If they come out flat for 2 quarters, they should not expect many people to stay and cheer.

For the Syracuse game I sat next to a Cuse fan who leaned over and told me all the empty seats was a message to the AD that you guys need a better home schedule.....lol. But he did say that he was impressed and said we know how to do it up right here and was also amazed at the size of our band which I found strange. Overall he said it was the best atmosphere he had ever been to.

Whenever I got to go, I stay until the end....
but why should others do as I do ?

It is their money and they may have different obligations and concerns ..
and in this case .. the heat was also a factor.
... with children and older people as well.

There were a bunch of empty seats because half the people were in the concourses under the seats in the shade.

This is something I noticed. Lots of people just wanted out of the sun. It was brutal out there.

People were hopping in the coolers it was so damn hot. It is dangerous for young ones and old people.

And you need to read my other posts...if you can manage it. I'm from the gulf coast, and an LSU alum. I've been through hot day games at Tiger Stadium and know how miserable it can be. Just 'cause I live up in yankee land now doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about. What a little boy you are......

I gaurantee there were more fans at that game Saturday than any game you went to as a student.

But hey, the ones that don't go to the games are usually the ones bitching about the crowd. How bout this, come meet me in 242 and see if your arse stays in your seat. You wouldn't have lasted an hour out there.

it was hot as fire. The areas in the South End zone from the West 10yd line around to the East 10 yd line were packed. I did see a lot of empty seats on the East side.

How was the West side between the 20's?

Only people I'll call out for leaving were the handful of people who left in the first quarter. Come on, you knew how hot it was going to be.

I was there(only able to make a game once every two years or so) and I will say that I most certainly did not expect it to be THAT hot. Just baking in the sun was a miserable feeling.
