More playoff games just diminishes the significance of regular season games.
I think it's perfect at 4, every conference game is a "playoff" game anyway, that's what makes college football great.

How are byes awkward? 1/2 get an advantage. If 3-6 want into the big game, fight for it.

I don't think they can change anything for another 5-10 years. I forget the current term of the agreement, but it's a while.

It works in the NFL because there is ZERO human influence or polls. Your record against mine.
College polls and human bias makes this a rediclous thought.
Once you start getting to 8 you have collected a large enough group that the winner will have credibility

I will never understand why people argue that the playoffs shouldn't expand because it waters down the regular season. Most people will watch every single game anyways.
