The best thing LSU fans can do is to support NIL crowdfunding sites like [link=(https://theplayeroption.com/)]The Player Option[/link] where we can generate thousands of small dollar donations instead of relying on a few large dollar donations.

I mean, Vitello was 29-27 and 12-18 in the SEC his first year at Tennessee. Comparing a coach in their 5th season at a school, to one in his first seems like a bad idea...

I think LSU has to win different in NIL. We aren’t going to be able to go toe for with big fish compared to A&M or Texas. Guys like Gordon are great for LSU NIL, but...

I worked in the AD when we hired him. One of the biggest driving forces was the fact that he had success both on the field and in recruiting at a school that wasn't the dominant team in their state.
The idea was if he could have success while having to battle the dominant state team in Michigan,...

This is the dumbest update. First there’s no way to verify it. Second, that’s not how this process works, at all. Third, if I said “I heard a contrary source say it was down to 5 candidates” how could you prove me wrong, and what difference would it make?!?...

Talk to me in December. His schedule so far has been fluff and there have been close games in that fluff.
4 of his next 5 games are against ranked opponents, so if you’re Tucker’s agent, you’ve got 13 days to leverage LSU for a bigger deal at MSU or sign with LSU...

He’s an elite recruiter. He thinks about the game in really modern and progressive ways.
I’ve always called him the Joe Brady of defense.
Having said all that, I would kill to have him as my DC and Nathaniel Hackett as my HC....

I was shouting from the roof to hire Schumann as DC before we hired Pelini. Schumann probably isn’t set to be HC, but should 100% be our DC...

Can you have your friend confirm there have been talks? I know from people inside the AD he’s high on their list, but not sure if they’ve contacted his agent yet. Would be a good barometer of how far they are in the process....

I agree. I think whoever is advising Woodward on this one nailed it. Very out of the box idea, but could be a real home run.
Would love to see him paired with a DC like Glenn Schumann....
