WVU and the playing of "Neck"

There seems to be universal agreement that all of the "F*** you LSU"'s screamed by WVU students made the entire fanbase look classless, crude, vulgar and stupid.
I hope our students remember that when Neck is played in Tiger Stadium.

Do whatever you think puts this state's university in the best light. But to be honest with you, it sounds like Devry Institute may be the best place for you to showcase your creative talents.

My seats are in 215 and I always look around for the people who bring young kids to a game for the first time. Being right next to the student section, I know that their 7 year old is gonna get a nice earful of "suck that tiger dick bitch". The parents' faces are always so disgusted.

When did this start? I graduated in 1998 and I don't think it existed; I know the chant didn't, but I don't think the band even played this song. Does anybody have any idea how/when this awful "tradition" came along?
Also, are all the students (or a large majority) going along with this chant? Seems like it must be a decent portion if it can be heard on TV. As a woman, I cannot imagine ever yelling out something like this (not because I'm terribly ladylike, but because it's so sexist).

face it, you aren't going to change a thing ranting away on the rant about neck. not all students like the cheer, i don't. It's established, and its not going to change no matter how many S.T.R.I.P.E.S. leaders teach the freshmen new cheers. this topic is moot to discussion by anyone who isn't currently enrolled/isn't faculty or administration
