Would you take a split of this week's basketball games?

Basketball has two huge road games this week, at Texas A&M and at Alabama. A&M needs little explanation as a top 10 team, while it's been way too long since the last time we won in Tuscaloosa.

Without knowing how the games will go, if you were offered a guarantee that we'd be 5-2 in the SEC on Sunday, would you take it?

No. Texas A&M is generally overrated and their frontcourt is especially weak this week. This is the time to stomp a respected team on the road.

And Alabama is not even remotely good.

I've watched the road games this season; I'll take the guaranteed 1-1

Of course I would. Anybody who wouldn't has unreasonable expectations.

Yes. I'd take a loss at A&M if it meant we beat Bama. T-Town has been one of the toughest places for us to win (couldn't even during the final 4 year) and winning that one is really the more important task.

It depends on which team you beat for the split.

If LSU beats A&M they need to go 2-0.

A split with a win against Alabama and that's okay.

Yes. Road games are tough obviously in SEC. Splitting these would be good

Yeah I think I would take it. A&M is the real deal. They have talent, play hard and are well coached. Avery has Alabama headed up.

that makes no sense lol. We would rather beat A&M and lose to Bama than vice versa

If LSU beats A&M then there's no excuse if they lose to Alabama. It would be more of the same lack of consistency from Johnny Jones' teams. It would be a huge disappointment. Losing to A&M and beating Alabama wouldn't be a disappointment.

Ok plain and simple. Which win helps RPI more. Which win would committee look at at the end of season and say good win possibly best win of season. You are looking at this the wrong way. We don't care about how it would feel to you. I understand what you're saying but who cares in long wrong if we make it to tourney.
