... regardless of which assistants were back or not?

I'd find it hard to get excited about the season.

I'd almost want to fast-forward over it.

Why? A older more mature Harris and LF along with a established OL and receivers... I would be excited

Realistically, Miles is only coming back with a new OC who could be HCIW.

So... yes, it would be exciting to see a new, empowered OC run a new offense at LSU.

It would be a 4 month long version of the game yesterday.

So no.

i'm assuming we're getting a new OC, so that would peak my interest for sure. I love my Tigers!! I'll always be excited for the season to start

nope it would just make it worse when we have to can him after we lose 4 or 5 again next year.

The only way i could even muster some excitement would be steele is fired and a great dc is moved in. Cam,bdp, ensminger, ball and grimes all fired.

Yes, duh.

We'll have a ton of guys back, be ranked in the top 10 or 15 to start the season, and have a big game to start the season.

Everyone will be excited, no matter who the coach is.

God no

I'm sure the fanbase would sunshine sunshine pump until Bama beats the brakes off us and we quit the rest of the season, but we aren't winning anything serious with Miles here, and I think most people understand this now

Anticipation, more like constipation. Bringing him back would lead to a season of apathy unlike we've seen here for many years.

you realize WVU tried this and les miles brother bill stewart tried his hardest to frick it up and had to be fired for it.

Bobby probably only did it with Jimbo because he was basically drooling on himself on the sideline

LSU has won something serious with Miles here....

So to say LSU "can't" win anything with Les is kinda ignorant.

No excitement. No hope. Would be bad for recruiting. Take the pill now to get the future in work. We owe Miles nothing. He has had his chance and got more than fair pay. I wish the good man luck - elsewhere, and as soon as possible.

Well, Miles has sabotaged his OC's by accident, so he'd probably stumble onto an excellent offense if he attempted to sabotage his OC on purpose.

Frankly, Miles seems like too good of a guy to pull the Bill Stewart type of stunt, especially when his job is on the line, like it currently is.

It's all hypothetical anyway, since Miles is most likely done at LSU either before or after the bowl game.

I would be curious but lowered expectations for my own sanity's sake. Lol.
