Tell your MSU friend he might consider a horseshoe up his arse because they have sucked for quite a while now.

I think we would have still won...we had started to move the ball before the second guy got hurt...we had figured out their pre-snap movement thing and it was only a matter of time before we wore them down...

No clue about Wisky losing Zagzebski in the first quarter after he got Hilliarded, but that probably didn't affect the outcome terribly. When they lost Herring at the start of the 4th quarter, that certainly hurt them a ton. Not so much for his play making ability but for his senior leadership on the field for their defense.

Though all in all, I don't think it would have mattered. LSU scored the go ahead touchdown with 9:41 left in the 4th quarter. With our defense playing the way that they were even if we didn't score that touchdown we would have still had 2-3 drives to get 3 points.

Who cares? If Alabama or Auburn would of won that way everyone on here would be calling them elite. Why do so many people especially LSU fans nit pick a win? A win is a fricking win!!!!

Good question but people might not give you credit for that.

I definitely believe the loss of 2/3rds of Wisco's starting DL definitely helped us. Their defense literally shut us down for 2 qtrs, and it wasn't until the loss of their NT "which was the 2nd starter on the DL that went down" did we start moving the ball effectively on their defense.

I personally think it was what made the difference in the outcome of the game.

LSU likely still wins.
What hasn't been mentioned- it seemed like we got a 1st down and were beginning to move before the first injury. That killed our momentum, gave Wisconsin time to regroup, and gave them a little bit of a boost (play harder for the guy they carted off, etc). We might have led or tied at the half, if not for that.

LSU was pounding relentlessly on Wisconsin in the 2nd half. 24-7 turned out to not be big enough a margin to force us out of our plan, which appeared to be to force them to match us physically for the entire game. Once they lost the ability to keep moving the ball, there was just too much time left in the game- we were going to keep hitting them until they broke.

I suspect we'll see that gameplan over and over, and it will work against most of our opponents.

I say yes. Our D had nothing to do with the sand in their D linemans vaginas.

Our D causes time of possession to flip by getting some stops. Their D spends a lot of time on feild, gets tired. We pound while they have nickel personnel in game.

We win.

I think so. They wouldve worn down just like the rest of the Wisky front 7.

If my Aunt had a set of nutz she would be my uncle. Injuries are part of the game. That's football.

Wisconsin should be happy the game was only 4 quarters. We figured them out and dominated once we did.

And injuries are part of the game. That's where depth helps the elite teams. We were missing players too.

Did you watch the 3rd string defense of OM last year in the LSU game?

going 3 wide and completing passes to take 8 out of the box won the ballgame for us, not opposing injuries.

Probably. They had no depth. Those guys were wearing down. Wisconsin was going to lose them anyway, if not to injury then to fatigue.

When AJ started tearing them up through the air they had to play with two safeties. Getting that safety out of the box, and the fatigue, are what opened it up for Hilliard.

Wearing down Wisconsin's defense was helped by our defense getting three and outs and turnovers.

Do you have any idea what the word "literally" means?

If you replace "literally" with "practically" your post would make sense.
