Miami of ohio ... I went with a guy who is from ohio and a huge Ohio state fan. He came along just to experiance tiger stadium on a saturday night. We picked at him all day and he said he knew it would be bad but at least he would get a taste of what TS could be like, well we all know how this story ends??

There are two games that really come to my mind about the EMOTIONS of 18-22 year-old LSU players........ This game [after a huge win] and the 1982 Tulane game[after a big win]..........

1. 2011 BCS National Championship Game
2. 2009-2010 Capital One Bowl
3. 2010 LSU @ Auburn
4. 2009 LSU @ Ole Miss
5. 2007 LSU vs Arkansas

Honorable Mention: 2005 Monday Night Football LSU vs Tennessee

All of mine are from after 2005 because prior to then, I only got to go to half of the home games (split tickets with my older brother) and he got first pick. This lead to me seeing a lot of games against The Citadel and Miss State while he saw Bama and Florida.

The 2007 Arkansas game. We lost in triple OT on a Matt Flynn int. Everyone thought our NC hopes were gone but, with all those teams losing on conference championship day we got in and beat the Bucks

2 oome to mind right off the bat and both had a lot of rain involved. the year, I believe was 1987 when we had just upset number 1 ranked Texas A&M and then 7 days later we fall to Miami of Ohio and that was well before Big Ben's playing for them and then without a shadow of a doubt, the 1982 Tulane game where Reggie Reginelli ran that darn screen pass for a winning TD. Both those games will unfortunately never be forgotten.

Troy 2008 sucked but at least we won. For me it just felt very tense the whole time.

Most depressing for me was Kentucky '98, the Tim Couch game. Even though we won the next week, you could just feel the wheels coming off walking out of the Kentucky game.

Which is exactly what happened.

I was a student in 1965 & 66 so I can't remember back that far.

I made my first trip back to Tiger Stadium in 2003 for the Gator game. You guessed it. The worst LSU game I ever attended. Couldn't beat The Visor when he was the Gator QB and couldn't beat him when he coached 'em.

I think it was the 1982 Tulane-LSU game at Tiger Stadium. It rained so had that one could not see the opposite sideline. It started well for the Tigers when Garry James ran 69 yds for a TD, but by the end, LSU loss to the Greenies. I was soaked and had to drive back to NO. LSU had already received an invitation to face Nebraska in the Orange Bowl.

Mind you, LSU throttled Fl. State earlier that month 55-21.

1/1/87 sugar bowl vs nebraska. watching the huskers pound us for what seemed like 25 play drives only to have us 3 and out and give it right back to them for another long drive where they just hammered it 5 yards a pop. the final score wasn't that bad 30-15, but anybody who watched it knew it for the beat down that it was.

Franchione busting Saban's nuts for talking bad about Alabama.

Life is funny sometimes.

Yes, like how Saban now has Franchione's old job, has multiple national championships, makes millions, and sends tons of players to the pros. Meanwhile, Franchione is now back coaching at Texas State.
