Got it and got it, sgbenne.

Actually, there was a more recent Bama game that was worse than the 1979 game. We were ahead and then gave it up. It rained. I had seats in the old upper deck with a CU fan that became a loyal Tiger fan. We were subjected to Gump taunts the whole time. What a drag that was! I blocked out which year that was.

LSU/Tulane 1981 at the Dome. Tulane 48-7...there have been some stinkers in my lifetime, but none worse than that.

Losing to them at home in the first round of the NIT a few months later made it even worse.

Tulane actually had a few fans back then and they were the worst.

Yes.. This!! We were ranked #8, and this piss-ant MAC Miami of Ohio team (from which our then-coach Arnsparger graduated) ran through us with a bowling ball shaped running back who was obviously a 'mudder', as the field was a mud bowl by the second quarter. Our offense, defense, and special teams ALL sucked. It was an embarrassment for LSU.

2009 Super Regional Game 2. LSU was on a crazy winning streak, but the one game I went to they lost.

A 10 year old girl threw up all over me from behind in the 8th inning. Took my throw-up-soaked shirt off and walked out.

The game in OP is definitely the worst I've been too. The weather was miserable and we got stomped. We were also sitting next to our famy friends who are die hard bammers so that made things worse

That game was so bad I forgot it ever existed it makes me appreciate Coach Miles even more ! We had just lost keven faulk, ryan clark and and a whole host of denardo recruits if he would of had a decent defensive back field coach,LSU woulda have acouple more champion ships and sabin never would have been college football genius !

San Jose St in 98 or 99. We won but struggled. It was the end on the Dinardo era.

Since I've been at LSU (2008)...

1. 1/9/12.....enough said. Plus, we must have been the last LSU people to leave, so I got to sit there and watch the crystal football go to the wrong team.

2. '09 Capital One Bowl. We all got soaked to the bone and were freezing our butts off. We couldn't even march our halftime show because of the turf, though pregame ruined our white shoes anyway. Then we lost to a team whose win doesn't even count anymore.

3. '12 Chick-fil-A Bowl. Overall crappy game, plus I had a migraine the second half of the game. No fun anywhere.

Yeah, that's the worst I've heard yet on this board.

This, in the student section. Florida could have easily put up another 21 points too, but Spurrier called off the dogs.

Around 1980 a girl asked me to go to the LSU/Rice game. LSU won 28-14 but it was the most boring game ever. I was at the Troy game a few years back (I actually graduated from there) and agree it sucked at first, but being an LSU fan it was the best game I've ever seen beginning the middle of the 3rd quarter. Fricking Jarrett Lee was on fire when earlier he couldn't hit a bull in the butt with a bass fiddle.

DiNardo's last game as coach against Houston.Lost 20-7 in a game that was so boring that the fans in TS watched & cheered a beach ball being knock though the stands rather than watch that pitiful display of ineptitude that was on the field. The plus side was Saban was hired and the program did a 180 and hasn't stopped yet.

Steve spurrier wasn't the head coach of Florida in 2003. It was Ron zook.
