Auburn 2006 had the biggest impact. If we win that game, LSU would have made 3 straight trips to the SECCG, and very possibly 2 SEC Championships and 2 National Championships back to back.

I've never seen an arse kicking like I did in the 1999 Auburn game. Also, 99 Houston game stands out.

As far as that abysmal 90s decade, it sure seemed as if every halfway capable SEC QB from a non Mississippi State team tore LSU a new one in Tiger Stadium. LSU played better to an extent on the road that decade.

Stewart Patridge, Stoerner, Ron Powlus, Romaro Miller, Damien Craig, Wuerffel, Doug Johnso, Quincy Carter would bring career day statistics

By no means have opposing teams QB's had that type of success in the 2000s

1967 - Ole Miss tie 13-13 Missed extra point
1967 - Alabama loss 7-6 Missed extra point
1967 - Miami loss 17-15 Missed FG
1967 - Tennessee loss 17-14 Missed FG
Would have been 10-0 and played for title.
1969 - Ole Miss 26-23 (Lead 23-23 in 4th) Cost us
a shot in the Cotton or Sugar. That year vegas had two teams that would have been favored against Texas - Penn State and LSU.
1987 - Alabama loss - 22-10 (Hodson hurt) would have ended season at 10-0-1.
2005 - Loss to Georgia in SECCG after playing 11-straight weeks due to the hurricanes.
2006 - Auburn loss 7-3 13-bad calls were sent to the conference office, a record.

1996 Alabama - I believe this was the first time Game Day came to BR - Alexander ran all over us.

1997 Ole Miss - Jefferson Pilot 11:30 Kickoff.

2002 Arkansas - Unbelievable.

2007 Arkansas - If not for WV/Pitt game the following Saturday, this would have been the most disappointing loss in LSU history - How was Arkansas not ranked with McFadden, Jones, and Hillis? Houston Nutt. Idiot.

Timely post for me.

Mine happened exactly, to the day - 42 years ago today: Ole Miss 26 LSU 23 Ruined LSU's chances for the 1969 NC.

Others, in chronlogical order since then:
1979 USC 17 LSU 12
1994 Auburn 30 LSU 27
1998 Alabama 22 LSU 16?
2002 Arkansas 21 LSU 20
2004 Auburn 10 LSU 9
2004 Iowa 30 LSU 25
2005 Tennessee 30 LSU 27
2007 Kentucky 41 LSU 38?
2007 Arkansas 50 LSU 48
2008 Alabama 27 LSU 21
2008 Arkansas 43 LSU 40?
2009 Penn State 19 LSU 17?

USC game in 1979. Last game I listened with my Dad.
He was there with me on Bourbon Street in 2003. Miss you lots.

2002 Arkansas - Unbelievable.

Saban kicks FG from inside the 15 yard line with a 4th and inches.

In a 00:28 second span Arkansas takes 2 snaps and goes the length of the field. No SEC Championship game.

Losses, all painful and disappointing.

Attended:

Arkansas 2007 no comment
Miami 1987 cold wet miserable
Alabama 2002 31-0, they ran the same hb draw all night and the Tigers never found an answer.
Georgia 1998 Tigers#3 coming in UGA #6(or 8) sell out huge game; Quincy Carter makes a name for himself against Tepper's defensive wizardry.
UAB 'nuff said.

Now how about a thread for favorite victories attended? Probably Germans--IDGAF.

If LSU wins on Saturday, it will be one of the most memorable wins. Ever. It will go down in history. That's a big if, but...

If Saban lets Randall optin run/pitch for 12 inches, even if we do kick the FG, Arky doesn't go the length of the field to win.
And LSU conceivably would have been in Atlanta three straight years: 2001,2002, and 2003.

Arky 2002 and Iowa 2005 show how bad Saban was at times....

USC think it was '79..was taken from us
and then TX A & M...do not remember the year, think in the 70s.Last game in the series..
with about 7 secs left and being ahead about 3 pts, we crowded the line of scrimmage, only to allow the QB to throw about a 5 yard pass and go all the way. There was no one beyond the line. LSU already assumed the game was won.

Nov. 21 1998 L 36-39 to Notre Dame in South Bend

Miserable decade of football in the 90s. I lived in Chicago at the time and attended the LSU - Notre Dame game. We had the game won numerous times and kept finding ways to lose it. I went from jubilation to sorrow many times that day. I've always hated Notre Dame.

TAMU with McElroy and Hill 45-7 and it wasn't even that close.

Shaun Alexander running for what seemed like 1,000 yards in one game.

Spurrier's 58-3 beatdown was the worst I ever saw.
