With how things are now, is this team a top 10 team?

I say yes. I was waiting to see this team bounce back from sec adversity and they did that last night. Couple that with a healthy LF with a defense having to respect the pass and this team is no doubt a top 10 team.

Let's see how we compete offensively against bama.

I think it is. Luckily we have a lot of opportunity to prove ourselves. Gonna be tough, but I think we can pull it out.

Yes I think it is top 10. If Les was fired last year LSU would likely be undefeated and fighting for a playoff spot.

If Wisconsin and Nebraska are top 10 teams, you don't think LSU is a top 10 team? This team is getting better and better...they beat bama and they will likely and should be top 10

After watching us completely shut down Kelly and the Ole Miss O after the first few drives, I know our D is legit now and not just shutting down weak offensive teams. We've all seen what LF did and have seen what Guice has done. Etling has been moving the chains and has been very accurate on those throws. Our receivers are looking better and better each week. We have new coaching that does not make it easy for other teams to scout us. All of those things and our last three performances tell me that this is a top 10 team going forward.

If Les was fired last year LSU would likely have an entirely new coaching staff, so don't make such a broad assumption. The Les Miles scenario played out the best way possible with regard to maintaining team and coaching chemistry for the remainder of the season and possibly into future seasons. If O keeps the job we will likely keep DA for another season or two with the only needed hire being the O-coordinator because I just don't think E wants that responsibility long term; otherwise, he would have applied for other positions.

Only if we win out. 3 losses is borderline at best.

Defensively, we look solid so far. Offensively, we've played 3 crap defenses.

In 13 days, we play the best defense in CFB.

Yes, but as we are now, we look like a top 10 team. Losing to Bama wouldn't really change that if that happens. The first two losses with Les had the completely predictable and impotent offense. We've averaged 41 points since the coaching change and are giving up less points on defense.

I certainly don't have a problem saying they are a top 10 team. However, keep pounding away and it will work itself out and leave no doubt.

Maybe, but right now we need to keep our heads focused on the task at hand.

We still have a gauntlet to get through, and it's hard to gauge your skill level on a team that's known to cave after halftime.

We haven't really been put back on our heels yet and forced to make adjustments. We'll see as we go along.

Alabama allowed over 200 yards MORE to Ole Miss. Defense is legit.
