I agree. So, what do you suggest? You going to relive the game every day until Sept. 4? Grow up.

We lost. Like I said, for the 3rd time now, they had a bad game plan and didn't make the necessary adjustments.

Some of you fans make it sound like the man committed some horrible crime or something.

Its hard to talk about accountability when you the coach wins 14 games and his conference exceeding expectations for the season.

I recall hearing a SECCG berth would be enough for Les to keep his job.
College footbal is not about what have you done for me lately it's about what are you doing for me now. There is not a person in here that can argue that Les Miles coached that game even close to his pay scale. I'm not a conspiracy theorist so the only other alternative is a dumbass did not prepare properly for the NCG or at the very least was to stupid or arrogant to make a vague resemblance of adjustments. Les looked like the bafoon that a lot of tenured coaches already thinks he is.

As a fan i find it aggravating when Les resorts to untruths and tries to deflect questions.
But i can see that he does not owe an explanation to the fans.
But I am just curious if he has to answer to the AD or does he gets a free pass for this awesome season.

I have read about some of the rumors that have been discredited by some insiders and players. Will the AD do anything at all to find the truth and proceed on an executive action.

bullshite he doesn't owe fans an explanation!!!! He damn sure does! We support that team through thick and thin. I don't care about a loss to a very good Alabama team. What I do care about is how in the hell he let anything get in the way of an honest all out effort! Thousands of fans spent thousands of dollars and traveled from all around the world to be at that game; and that's what we got? Not to mention the players who put their trust in that staff and shaped their football careers to attend a superior program like LSU. He owes everyone some sort of explanation. If Les was the play caller and not the OC, he clearly just might be the all time worst coach in the history of the game. Like I said, I'm fine with losing a football game. I support the Saints in the same passionate way. The Sunday playoff loss was a great example of a team that lost a great football game while playing their arse off. They made some mistakes but who cares, they tried like hell to win that game, as one team, one unit with one goal. Monday's NC game was a mockery of everything the game of football stands for. Until Les gives a true explanation of what happened he can kiss my arse. I'm still an LSU fan but not of LM...

So, it is not about what he did Monday night; it is about what he is going to do now and next year.

Wtf is he supposed to tell him?

"Hey Joe, I know you don't know shite about football but I'm sorry for going 13-1 and making it to the national championship. I'm really sorry about making all of this money for the program. Will you forgive me?"

So again, I ask, what should he do? Seriously.

Have a press conference and say "My staff and I just had bad plans and didn't adjust."

Then would you feel better?

how about: "hey, joe, my bad about letting my massive ego get in the way of playing the best kid at Qb, and going on a power trip and giving the finger to my team and the fans because I refuse to admit I was wrong about JJ or that only an idiot like me would create a QB controversy as the #1 team.

Do you honestly think that Miles would jeopardize making himself 5 MILLION more dollars because he wanted to "stick it to the fans"? He made a bad decision...get the frick over it...but there is no way Miles wasn't doing what he thought was best to win that game...period.

no this is the point. He refused to realize that he was wrong. I dont think he consciously said JJ is worse so ill play him. I think he said I won a NC by back dooring into it and getting beat at home , but now im a badass coach who knows everything and O say JJ is better and thats final.

His decision was worse than bad. I was agonizingly terrible. One that a objective evaluator never would ahve made.

So what do you propose he do? I'm really asking.

Because I promise you, you've already read what he'd say on here.

What should he do?

i think miles has become an ego maniac thats obsessed with his own weird bullshite like eating grass and talking like an idiot.

he thought JJ was better and he couldnt possibly be wrong. whatever, you live with his balls in your mouth.

The guy is a good recruiter, nothing more. Incidentally, recruiting is the most important part of being a successful college program. Im just not sure how much of his recruiting success is due to LSU being the only real program in a very fertile state. Once Saban made it cool for La kids to go to LSU the stage was set, so Im not sure if another coach couldnt recruit like him anyway.

Les has nothing to apologize for, 13-1 season is a dream for about 110/120 teams.

Let's get real here, would a struggling effort for a 9-3 year make LSU fans "Feel Better"?

Title game loss is tough, but eating your own over a single loss is just....wow.
