UT 12 men
I would like to know how that was Miles' fault. . .

Are you kidding me? Pretty much all coaches have blunders like that.

Saban: Lost to UAB with LSU, ULM with Bama, Utah in the Sugar Bowl, losing the 05 CapOne Bowl, so on and so on.

Jesus, dude. . .

All coaches make their share of blunders. You harp on Miles' blunders because he is LSU's coach.

Miles goes 11-2, then 13-1 with pathetic QB play. . . .fire his arse. . .

Not at all.

Saban is one of the top-3 in the country.

Just showing you that all coaches frick up sometimes. . .even on big stages.

you love miles unconditionally
Hardly unconditional. My condition is that he keeps putting a quality product on the field, and keeps winning.

Your condition must be "be perfect" and "never makes bad decisions".

I would say you hate Miles unconditionally.

ETA: going to bed now. . .look forward to embarrassing you further.

Didn't Miles hire Chavis? Even when you assholes were throwing out a list of other candidates? Isn't that part of what makes a head coach great? Didn't Mikes fight like hell to keep Chavis?

Seriously, this shite is so stupid.

the wonderful thing about the tiger rant

i have to remind myself 99% of postings are simply 'what others think'

so much has to go nearly perfect to win a BCS championship - monday wasn't our night - grow up.

We were 13-1, SEC Champs., Had a dominationg season and beat Bama in Bama. While the NC was a disappointment, It certainly does not negate the excellent season that preceded it. Nor does it tarnish CLM has done while at LSU.

You make it sound like it was his intent to go out there and have an agenda to lose the game

No, his agenda was not to lose the game, nor was it to win the game. His agenda was to play JJ win or lose.

He should be held accountable for his stubborness to stick with Jefferson no matter what the cost.

Will Les be held accountable for the NC by Alleva

He will be held "accountable" for not winning the NC game by not receiving the additional bonus he would have earned if we had won it.

quote:

does he gets a free pass for this awesome season

He doesn't get a "pass" for this season because he doesn't need one. That's because it was, as you said, an awesome season. 13-1, SEC title and a #2 finish nationally is not a season that any coach needs a "pass" for.

quote:

he does not owe an explanation to the fans.
But I am just curious if he has to answer to the AD

I doubt Alleva will try to micromanage to such a detailed extent. He will look at the season's results and the general state of the program, be thankful that both are as good as they are, and then probably ask Miles how much of a raise and extension he wants. Or at least that's what he should do.
