He really needs to get going. I would call him a disappointment to date so far. I would love to see him getting it going tonight.

It has been a long slump; pretty awful so far.

When he shoots in rhythm, he has a really good percentage it seems. I think his problem is that he shoots way too much when he tried to take people of the dribble and takes wild, contested shots.

He's not very good playing off the ball. Playing w Ben should've made him a better spot up shooter. He needs to take the ball to the goal more and get to the FT line.

Hopefully coach fixed him up with a few slump busters to bed this week. Get his mind right because we need offense from him QMan and Sampson to keep UK's defense honest.

This, especially early in the season. Seemed like every time the ball got to him earlier this year he was shooting, regardless of situation.

He has dialed it back a lot lately recently though, and he's being praised for his defense, which is something else he was not doing earlier this year.

He actually looks like a guy who is responding to coaching this season. It's got be killing him not to throw it up there all the time like he did in high school, but it should pay off later (I hope).

He's in such a slump, I don't want him to shoot. If he can't dunk it, pass it...

It has to happen sometime. Perhaps the magnitude of this game will be the stimulus.

At a certain point a "slump" is no longer a slump, its just that the person isn't a good shooter..... Blakeney, just isn't a good shooter.

You don't get rated as the #3 shooting guard in the country if you can't shoot.

He was shooting fine early in the season. He went cold and has not recovered. That's the definition of a slump.

He looks confused out there on offense and isn't a very good defender or rebounder. Not sure why he is playing. Like Quarterman in his freshman year he needs to ride the bench and work hard over the summer.

I would be happy to pay TQ, Hornsby, Grey, and Patterson when he is healthy. Shortess is a better option right now.

He has been playing better defense the past couple of games.

Wasn't he an outside shooter and prolific scorer in HS?

The rim has not changed. He may just be a little overwhelmed by the college game. Once he gets comfortable, he will be fine.

He is just in a slump.

I don't think this is a slump. Tone is a scorer, not a shooter. He's an athletic guard who needs to go to the goal more and attack. Right now I don't think he's very good a finishing and I think that along with his shot will he improved after the summer. I see his raw potential

Blakeney is getting a bad deal around here. He isn't scoring on offense so ppl thinks he sucks. He has played great D ever since the Houston game

At what point is it not a slump? I know he was highly ranked as a recruit, but sometimes these things don't always translate to college basketball. Elbert is a good example.
