To bad we don't have a QB or a coach that can coach them.

I was gonna laugh too, but I won't. I will say that my exaggeration to make the point was minimal, however.

It’s a remarkable phenomenon, considering the struggles the Tigers have had at quarterback for much of the last decade under Les Miles. Save for a Jamarcus Russell season here or Zach Mettenberger season there

I'd have included Matt Flynn in there too. I'd love to have him back under center for LSU.

Are you insane. The only time we actually had trouble with QB play in 2011 was against the #1 defense in Bama (who had one of if not the best defense of the decade), and the #3 defense in UGA.

JJ had had decent 2009 and actually much better when you realize he had the worst LSU OL since the 90s, and the worse running game since IDK when. When your entire RB corps gains only a little over 1400 yards and 14 TDs, you only have the passing game as an option. If you don't understand how low 1400 rushing yards is, realize that that is worse than 113 teams this year alone. Those 14 TDs are worse than 102 teams this year. Twenty-two players gained more rushing yards and TDs this year than our entire RB corps in 2009. LSU's whole system is based on running to set up the pass, when you can't run, I'm astounded that JJ did even that in 2009.

The thing about our WRs is that they get fewer targets because they have to play together. Look at Kadron Boone. Played maybe seven offensive snaps all year and gets drafted in the 7th.

We may NEVER have an All-SEC player because we're never going to have a guy that we target 15-20 times a game.

Check out UGA, they are the same. For the past 7 years, UGA has thrown for no lower than 2599 yards and 24 TDs in each year. They have not thrown for less than 3150 yards and 25 TDs in 5 of those 7 years, and they have thrown for no less than 3450 yards and 27 TDs in 4 of those 7 years. Yet they have zero thousand yard receivers. They have zero double digit TD catchers. They've had 3 WRs go over 900, and 5 go over 800.

In that same span, LSU has had 4 players go over 900 yards, 3 with double digit TD catch years, and 2 go over 1000 yards (both at least 1150 yards). In that same span LSU has only went over 2599 passing yards 4 times. LSU has only went over 3000 yards once, and has had more than 20 TDs only twice.

I am judging that year on the finish. You can't say we had a good year at QB finishing that poorly. And we were helped by the fact that every team in the SEC outside of Bama and Georgia were having down years.

2009 was bad at QB. Poor decision making. End results weren't tragic but we had the best group of receivers in college football.

Trying to determine which of these statements is more retarded.
