Anybody who has seen his offenses during his career knows this is not his scheme (just like all of the OC during the Miles era)

If Miles has any sincerity when it comes to changing the offense, I suspect the only way it could happen is if the person making the adjustments is somebody he trusts. That makes Cam the perfect candidate

Yes, the QB's need to play better. Are Jennings and Harris his fault? I guess. But I did see a huge improvement by Mett in his one year with Cam so I know development is possible

Cam Cameron offenses have always been heavy on throws to the TE and RB. If Miles lets Cam or some other OC do that we have a shot at success with Harris. If every throw is designed to go way down field, drives will stall and the ineptitude will continue against quality opponents

Les Miles has major trust issues. He doesn't trust QB's and OC's. Bringing in somebody for a lame duck season (even Henson) gives me little confidence that Les will let them run something resembling a balanced and effective offense Maybe Cam is the best option for at least some evolution by Les?

He got fired in Baltimore for the same shite he does here. miles has a lot of input on the offense but this is cam's shite show

Have an Upvote just because you got "loose" right in its correct context.

Cameron gets fired bc he's the scapegoat, the punching bag that's needed to take the heat for the offensive woes.

I would be for firing CC, but I've seen 3 other OC's dial up the same 4 plays every game... Miles must still own an Atari with Madden 89.

Because he's a comfortable person for Miles to have. We need to bring in someone that will push against Miles a little bit. Probably won't change much but can't really hurt

We should cut Cam loose because Cam stated that he was ready to be set free.

I have to agree. Cam has always been big on throwing to the TE and RB. I think the real issue is his QB development. He can call a good game with a good QB, but he can't make a good QB.

He got fired for throwing the ball too much in Baltimore. He is not a conservative OC by nature

This is Miles' offense. Is there an OC out there that can get him to open things up? It doesn't seem like it.

Cam stunk in the NFL. I thought he'd be able to kick arse at the college level, but I thought wrong.

Look: nobody's running 'new' plays. Scissor routes, picks, in/post combos... there's not a lot being done that hasn't been done before. Even the 'spread-option' stuff is just the Wing-T offense out of the shotgun.

What separates good coaches from bad coaches is how well prepared they are to face their opponents. LSU has had excellent rushing offenses for years. Clearly, a change needs to be made in the passing game.

I don't think it will matter in terms of scheme and thus believe that continuity for the QBs is preferable.

What same shite is he doing at LSU that he did with the Ravens?

Well technically he's not getting fired. His contract just isn't getting renewed.

Because he sucks and makes a crazy amount of money for an OC.

Exactly! Even with Crowton, there was ZERO resemblance of a Crowton offense here. It was bizzare!
