Because he's a great offensive coordinator who isn't a good head coach, as a leader.
Remember, he didn't just fail at Oakland, Tennessee and USC, he left a lot of bad blood behind each time.
Sorry, I'm not willing to bet that a couple years with Nick Saban has cured him of that. Maybe it has, I suspect we will see... somewhere. Just, let's not find out here.
