It really is a good question, esp w/Canada wanting to use options such as the jet sweep. Narcisse's health undoubtedly must be the answer. He is handmade for the offense LSU ran last week, and I just don't see Brennan running read options. I think before all is said & done either our offensive philosophy will change, or Brennan will transfer.

Can anyone give reasonable answer to this?

He's coming off an ACL surgery.

Is it just me or doesn't Narcisse seem like a better option to run Canada's offense?

You haven't seen him play. You have no idea how ready he is.

In the end, barring an injury to Etling, only one was going to see enough snaps to help them progress this year. It's extremely reasonable that the choice was Brennan. It certainly isn't crazy.

I think everyone would love to see a healthy Narcisse and see what he looks like. But, not at the cost of a year. This is the right decision.

I wish people would stop speculating that a star player will transfer. The only reason he'd transfer is if the team starts going down, not because of Canada's current offensive strategy.

Because O coached in the northeast and California, converted to a yankee and liberal, hates southern people and will do anything to piss of LSU fans!

I'm not "bypassing Brennan" I think the kids going to be a stud, I just think a dual threat might be better suited in Canadas offense.

If you have seen Narcisse throw you would realize he is a few years away from being able to compete in the SEC.

Why question what Orgeron does and does not do? He's clearly inept.

Here is a sobering thought for you. Regardless of how much football Orgeron might or might not know, he does know way more than you do.

I'm guessing that the staff, who see him in practice every day, have decided that he needs another year to heal and get stronger.

With the offense we NEED to be running right now, he might be the best choice of 'the 3'.........

he wants to give his knees time to fully recover and add leaner muscle.. hes already said..

as far as Canada's offense, canada runs multiple offenses, he can basically use any QB he wants.. Drop back passer, Dual threat, thats why he is so good, he can do both.. Aranda is the same, he can run multi front Defenses.. being versatile is the key..

Narcisse has 2 reconstructed knees and is 2 years removed from playing competitive football. Knowing that and with Brennan on roster it seems like a no-brainer.

So he can play an extra year elsewhere when he joins the list of players who transfer.

Narcisse is probably not healthy yet, not close to 100%

Unless Etling or Brennan gets hurt, whats the point in burning a year of eligibility just for him to get a handful of snaps? Not like we'd be going to a 3 QB rotation.

I think there are multiple reasons for him red shirting.

1. Knees are an issue.
2. Arm is an issue.
3. Knowing the offense may be an issue, but I doubt that scenario since he was there in the spring.

I really think his throwing accuracy is probably closer to Brandon Harris's than Brennan's.
He is an elite athlete, I can't wait to see him on the field.

He hasn't played organized football in 2 years and y'all want to put him behind a line that's playing 3 true freshman. Jesus Christ.

Because he has 2 blown ACL’s and hasn’t really played football since 2015. Also he can barely throw a spiral in pregame warmups. He’s just not ready yet. Be patient

Likely because Myles and Etling share a lot of the same qualities and the offense not being altered.

i think brennan is a step ahead of narcisse. it's been a few years now since narcisse has been healthy. hasn't played much football lately. i just want him to get fully healed and up to speed. dude's gonna be a badass.
