You're out of your mind if you think Narcisse will play as a 5th year senior

Why is that? The chances that the NFL would be the reason are very slim.

not a snowballs chance in hell he'll sit the bench a couple of years just waiting for his turn!

There is a better chance of him doing that than going the NFL early. There are multiple scenarios. It might be sit this year, play some next year, and step in for good when Brennan struggles or he out plays him. Or, maybe Brennan becomes all world and then it's sit this year, play some next year and the following, and play well enough to be the incoming starter in year 4.

Why did he travel to Florida intentions are to redshirt him?

I don't know the answer, but a logical plausible one was that he's on the 3 deep and they had some reason to think he might be needed. Intentions to redshirt aren't the same as no scenario where he wouldn't redshirt.

Where does the info that O is "dead set" on redshirting Narcisse come from?

easy answer. Etling is the best QB on the team and has emerged as the unquestioned leader of this football team

What has been the biggest problem with LSU over the last 7-8 years? No continuity at QB. For the first time in a long time we have that chance. Etling/Brennan this year. Brennan/Narcisse next year. Plus Narcisse gets another year to recover. I see nothing but positives in redshirting the kid.
