I wouldn't call it hate. The expectations for the program are very high, and the fan interest in the program is the best in college baseball. If the team fails to meet the expectations the coaches catch flak for it before the players. It is the high expectations and intense fan interest that causes fans to second guess every decision made by the coaches. So the coaching staff is more likely than not to disappoint most fans whether it is with respect to who they recruited, who gets to play, where players hit in the batting order, and in game decisions down to why was a particular pitch called.

And then there is the fact that they get compared to Skip and his staff's results.
