It's simple. They don't like CPM because he's not as good as Skip.

They don't like Javi because the rules were changed to favor pitching and defense. So we responded by using our limited scholarships on pitching and defense. Morons attribute the drop in batting, and the drop in the batting statistics standings, to Javi. So they hate Javi.

If the NCAA returned the rules to the old ones, and our pitching suffered the fate that our hitting has suffered the last few years, the same morons would blame, and hate, Dunn.

So basically you pulled up posts where I have pointed out that we are the most impatient team at the plate. We almost never take pitches. Many of those posts were from Sunday, a game that we won 2-0. Offense did not win that game, defense and pitching did. Did you link my post to where I stated early in the game that we shouldn't be hacking away at all of those 2-0 pitches? The pitcher for Florida doesn't have good control, but we will hack away, and hit and run, to take away the chance at a walk. Scivique's 2-0 GIDP was a big play in the game.

One of those quote's was an obvious joke about the lineup. Do you really think I had to ask people in the thread if we won or not?

Because they are LSU fans. They are not happy unless they are bitching. We could win the CWS, BCS, and NCAA BBall tournament every year, and the fans would bitch that the margin of victory wasn't big enough or the food is no good, or the bathroom's smell, or their favorite player didn't see enough action.

Our fan base is quite pathetic.

I had to look this one up, because you obviously searched WAY back to find it. This was after the UGA tie. I was commenting about our baserunning. Can any level-headed poster honestly say that we are, and have been a good base running team over the last several years?

Once again, it's criticism about a small part of the LSU baseball program, baserunning. It is not a blanket statement to fire Mainieri.

Don't get me started on base running...you see what teams like vandy do..is it because they are good at coaching base running or because they recruit base runners? I'm willing to bet it's the coaching so when LSU does poorly, I think it's a valid argument to blame our coaches.
