Why do you want to fire Les, because I don't get it.

Full disclosure, I'm a Gator fan. I'm really surprised that these past 3 games have driven you all to want to fire Miles. It's not like he's Richt, 2 SEC titles and a Natty and playing for another. Not sure who you think you are going to bring in to beat Saban. I don't see Fisher coming from FSU. Help me out here.

It's just a knee jerk reaction from an ignorant fan base. Nothing more than that, really.

Bama wants Les to be LSU's coach forever.

Does this tell you something?

19-12 in the SEC since 2012. I know it's hard for Florida fans to understand, but that's not good.

If LSU doesn't have a series of ridiculous events happen in 2007 to get to the BCS game I'm not even sure if Miles would've made it to 2011.

Imagine the Will Muschamp passing game, but multiply that by 5 years in a row.

It's this simple...if you're LSU, can you (right now) hire someone that can deliver better results for the next 5-9 years than what Miles could do?

Based on what Miles has shown the last 3-5 years, many believe (right now) the answer is yes and the fear is that if you wait, the ability to recruit at the level we are currently recruiting will not be there and the selection of coaches will not be there.

2007, 20011, 110-32, etc doesn't matter

When a professional player gets cut or traded because he organization thinks they can get better production moving forward, nobody thinks it's a bad move. The packers moved on from Favre to Rodgers because they felt that would have better results. It doesn't diminish what Favre did nor does it mean Rodgers had to be better than what Favre WAS. It simply meant he had to be better than what Favre would have been if they kept him.

The really ignorant LSU fans are the ones who want to stick with a coach clearly not up to the task.

Hence why you (and the rest of the SEC) want Miles to stay at LSU

I'm really surprised that you actually think it's the last 3 games that have gotten Miles in hot water. They haven't helped, but it's been an arduous, slow, painful decline.

You have to watch the last 3 games to understand what a truly poorly coached, undisciplined team looks like. Les' offensive game plan is from the 60's and completely predictable.

Everyone loves Les the man, Les the coach will drive you crazy. He's like that hot looking GF who keeps getting drunk and embarrassing you. You can only take so much.

I'll take this one.

Look, Gator... this is the deal. We are not being competitive in our own division anymore.

This isn't about winning. Les has won plenty of games.

This is about losing. He's losing to too many of our biggest opponents, and these people are in our own division. We are trending down right now in the SEC West, and it's time to make a change.

It's not that we don't love or appreciate Miles. We do. He's a wonderful man and we are proud of what he has done here.

But a lot of times people are sent packing from jobs because of what they haven't done lately, or because times have changed. Most people don't get the benefit of a $15 million parachute. Miles does. No one is walking away from this (predicted) event hurt. All parties might not get exactly what they want, but they will all certainly get something they need.

And if Bama hadn't shown up again in the 2011 Natty, he'd have another National Title. If..it's a big word.

I think we are tired of having to wait for the stars to align for us to have a good team

Coming out of the gate we were a year in year out winner. We all think we can be that team

Now we have to wait on 4-5 year cycles for our team to be good?

He can't recruit QBs consistently enough to have someone older than a sophomore ready to take over when a 5th year senior leaves.

And lately when haven't been fighting to the end. We get behind and we don't take the risks you need to make a big comeback. No insides give vs Bama. We punted with 8 minutes to go and down 3 against Arkansas. And then Les comes out meek as a field mouse at the press conference

I am a huge Les Miles fan and I still appreciate everything he has done for the school, but there is something off about him. His biggest strength outside recruiting was motivating the team to play, and he hasn't don't that well the last 2 years.
