You act like this is a personal attack.

It is simply a question of why would anyone care what others think of OUR coach ?

As always, a question is spun into something more than what it is.

That is what is sad

Doesn't mean they want him as their coach.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah winning all the time, recruiting and maintaining top coordinators, pulling in Top 5 recruiting classes along with few NCAA violations and a direct pipeline into the NFL is just nothing they are interested in.
They just dont understand why any LSU fan wouldnt be thrilled to have him. It has nothing to do whether Im a nice guy or not.
I dont have an answer for them. Maybe u can help me answer that question, the next time a fan of another school asks " Why doesnt more of the LSU fan base appreciate Miles?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I just get annoyed when our own fans blindly shite on him without taking a look around the country and realizing how lucky we are."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I fall in this category. Annoyed may not be the exact adjective but its close enough.

If you're more concerned that the fans of other teams "like" (respect) your coach rather than that they would want him as their own coach....then you are exactly part of the problem.

What are you talking about?

IDGAF what other people think about our coach. He wins a frick ton and he's a great guy. End of story.

Why do you care if other fans "covet" our coach? You're the one that's being a count.

Maybe you missed the part where I said I don't care what other fans or media members think about Les. I just get annoyed when our own fans blindly shite on him without taking a look around the country and realizing how lucky we are.

But by all means, troll on bro!!!1

For me it's the people that repeat stupid shite about Miles that piss me off. I do go over the top in defense at times. I suppose it's that I see dumb asses that don't know shite about college football say a lot of it so when I read it on hear I flip out. In the end don't pass off your opinion as fact and I'm cool.

You really don't understand why people would get mad by other people criticizing the coach of their favorite sports team?

Again, I personally don't give a shite if a dumbass Ole Miss or Auburn fan makes fun of Les or thinks he's an idiot, or a trolling media member ranks him as the 17th best coach in the country. I know him to be a great coach and representative of LSU that wins games at a higher rate than anyone in our program's history. But I can understand why people would want to defend him.

I find myself defending him to our own fans way too often, and that's what bothers me.

None of those fan bases would trade Miles for their coach.

You know this how???????????? Oh I remember your beer buddies told you this.

If that's "respect" you can have it. I'd rather other fan bases covet my coach.

I'm thinking you don't know the difference between respect and covet. Which leads me to think that there is a lot more you don't know.

And if you don't think that there are dozens of other schools that would gladly trade their current coach for Miles in a heartbeat, you live under a rock someplace.

Raise your hand if you're tried of these "We Love" and "We Hate" Les Miles threads.

Why would a "we love" Les Miles thread upset our fan base?

what coaching searches has Miles name legitimately come up in?
I'll wait.

What a ringing endorsement considering there are 120 FBS teams.
Again, you're an idiot.

Michigan and Arky. Arky offered him more than he gets here. Everyone else knows he isn't going anywhere. Arkansas courts Les Miles

How wold you know? How would any of us know unless someone leaked the information? I'll type slowly so that you can understand. What you read/hear in the media isn't what actually goes on, e.g the Saban/Texas idiocy. Coaching searches are done in the background between representatives of universities and coaches' agents. Speculation is usually fired by uninformed fan bases (look in the mirror), or the overactive imagination or reporters(Miles to Michigan-Herbstreit). So it is highly unlikely that you personally or anybody you know would have any clue has to who, how, when or if Miles' agent has been contacted. That's the way big money works. I fully understand how that escapes you.

You have learned to Google. Your mommy must be proud. What else did you learn in school today?

quote:

What a ringing endorsement considering there are 120 FBS teams.

Considering that they are multiple of dozens of teams that are no way able to afford a coach of Miles' stature and they know it, I thought I'd narrow it down for you. I guess that sailed over your head too. The concept of a world bigger than your neighborhood bar seems to elude you.

Now run along, carrying your ignorance with you.
