Why do people freak out after every baseball game?

Win or loss people are bitching. I know it is just what some LSU fans do, but damn.

Nearly every sec series we have played up to this point has been a super regional caliber series. Is it really sweep or bust for some of you? We are in a great spot to take the west. We have the best pitcher in the nation throwing on Friday, a solid defense, and the bats are coming alive.

You just need to win 2 of 3 at this point. The SEC schedule gets "easier" as we move forward. This team is in a good position.

Because in reality you can be a fan and notice things about our team that is lacking and/or things that need to be fixed.

The rant is just that cerebral.

FIFY

Most LSU "fans" really think they are the smartest guy in the room and seek to prove it.

The bats are coming alive? I'd feel more confidant if we could play against the Black Bear infield every week.

Because the Sunshine Pumpers take less joy in the fact that we beat our opponent and more joy in the fact that some figment of their imaginations known as the "negatiger" is sitting in his corner in the fetal position because the worst thing in the world just happened to him--LSU won a sporting event.

I'm with you. There are no excessively negative lsu fans. It's a myth and time for us to stop acting like its a real thing.

That is true for all fan bases so don't act like LSU fans are "special" in this regard.

I don't think the "bats are coming alive" part to be very true. 2 runs seem to be the most this team can earn (against SEC Pitching) on it's own and we manage to get to 3-5 runs IF the other team makes an error or 2.

Thank You Black Bears!

A lot of the people don't understand baseball. Like when we went 2-1 vs Yale or whoever a couple years back and people were bitching. They have no idea streaks happen and they have no idea its hard to follow a magical year (Bregman). Its like shooting a low round in golf, you rarely follow it up with another.

This actually speaks more about the mental make up of a baseball player versus the game itself. Bregs has put a lot of pressure on himself to be the man in the line up from the get go and that has cost him mentally all year.
