Because my parents raised me right.

Because God loves me – that’s why!
The people He doesn’t love, He makes them Bama, Tulane, and USC fans.

As quoted from my T shirt
Because it's everything Bama isn't; Better than Tulane; a southerner's dream and a northerner's wish; the pride and joy of the great state of Louisiana; Mike the Tiger; I bleed purple and gold; Tiger stadium on a saturday night; Ole Miss's worst nightmare; and a place that can get in your blood and stay forever.

I was born into it. I'm the third generation of my family to graduate from LSU.
I wouldn't change my loyalty to LSU for anything.

I was raised to be a casual Tiger fan.
then after the first game i attended at Tiger Stadium, I was hooked...
the atmosphere is incredible...
i've been to Tulane games...
and i'm still wondering why no one has pulled the plug on that program.

Same here. But, after the exciting games last year (florida, auburn and alabama games), I am an even bigger fan. Last year was the best lsu season i can ever remember.

I grew up in southern MS so Ole Miss, MSU, USM, and LSU were televised. The closest schools were USM and then LSU. SEC >>>>>>>>>> Conference USA so I chose to watch LSU. Watching Kevin Faulk play was also a deciding factor.

I i'm a LSU Tiger because i was born in this state raised to be a Tiger. I'm one of the priviledged in this country to have been blessed to be apart of the best damn university in the land. I've seen the bleek and been apart of it when we stood at the apex of the mountain. I will depart this life one day loving Christ, my wife and my children, my family, my country, and my Tigers. Thats why I'm a Tiger, Greenie. Its ok to be jealous because every other major college team in the country is jealous until one of them dethrown us.

Three reasons: 1. grew up in NO listening to John Ferguson call Tiger games on Sat. night
2. Pete Maravich
3. went to and graduated from

Grandfather raised me to be one. Parents are Alums, and even though I didn't go to school there, my college doesn't have a football team. But LSU was my college sports team long before I was old enough to attend college.

Legacy.., Grew up seeing my parents big LSU fans.
They never went to college. I decided I wanted to get my degree from LSU. I did in 1987.
LSU is in my blood. Sadly the Saints are as well.
I live in Texas now and try to tell my three daughters they need to go to UT, Vandy, Rice or SMU. Yet they are also hooked and love to play the LSU Band CD and cheer. What can you do?

I moved to La. as a very young child from Ms. My dad took me to a game in Tiger Stadium and we were both hooked from that moment on. I then moved back to Ms., but I still bleed purple and gold and love to go back to the games.

My dad went to Tulane and he wanted me to be a GW fan, so he took me to LSU-Tulane games in New Orleans in 1958 and 1960. Tigers won both games and there was something about the P&G spectacle that told me, even at the tender age of seven, that Tiger football was something special.
We moved from NO to Los Angeles in 1961, but I never lost the Tiger football habit. Followed 'em every place I've lived: L.A., Seattle, Santa Barbara, S.F., Chicago, Little Rock, Columbus, OH and now Orlando.
I guess I got lucky: there's nothing better in the sports world than being a Tiger fan. 'Specially these last couple years.

First my brother because he introduced LSU to me at birth. Next, in no particlular order...Tiger Stadium, Mike the Tiger, The Golden Band from Tigerland, The Golden Girls and, well, just because.
