Trolls .Negatigers, people who think they can affect LSU recruiting. People who refuse Les has a BETTER record at LSU than Saban has at Bama over the same time.Want to ramp up the fact that LSU had more wins in 09 than Bama with their mulligan. They need to be a little quicker with the boot button than they are, go to the bama board and talk trash you will be kicked before you know what happened. trolls had an effect on recruiting this year , Like Chicken said be quick with the troll whipping stick. Be carefull what you say, recruits read the rant. Plus we are ONE state ,together we win divided we fall.

It's like Cam Cameron showed what he could, Les overruled him for the Florida game, we won, and that was enough for Les to go back to the conservative, vanilla offense

Same ole shite.. when we do something good it is someone else (coordinators) when we do something bad it's Les' fault. This gets fricking annoying as much as the sunshine pumpers.

Unless there is actual proof, there is no way I believe this.

When these kids come to tour campus and talk with the program, they are looking at playing time, NFL opportunity, perks of being a student athlete, winning, how they will fit into the scheme, etc.

The absolute last thing any of them consider are the big mean internet trolls who say such harsh things from the comforts of their office/couch.

Les Miles has had great success, second only to...nevermind, (but tops at LSU). I think most of the criticism comes from appearing to not have the team ready for some games and second (but first for some) having (at times) a conservative offense and not having better quarterbacking, specifically with better forward pass skills.

And third if you want to count this too is appearing to sometimes play a favorite player, when fans think there are better players on the bench.

And then there is the cryptic, dufus, style of speaking.

Justified or not, I think that is why there is a proliferation of "negatigers."

Yeah, because that's what I meant dickface. Glad to see you consider what we did against Iowa "working too well." It's so satisfying beating unranked, overmatched teams by 7. What a thrill.

But I feel confident we could get a great coach should Miles leave

I'm thinking fans from Tenn., Fla., Michigan, USC, Miami, Nebraska, Bama till 07, and others thought the same.

Truth is, imo, almost any coaching search is a gamble and not one I wish to enter when our present coach is winning at a rate LSU has never seen before and winning at a rate since 05 that puts us in the Top 5 of college football.

Miles has his screw ups, as they all do, but what LSU has achieved in his tour of duty is amazing and beyond any LSU football success I have EVER known as a fan.

But but but they were the best unranked team in the country with a top ten defense even though most everyone was saying LSU would beat the shite and run them out of Orlando. But since they struggled and barely beat them all the sudden Iowa is magically a top team with national championship defense

Going to the Outback Bowl was such a pleasant experience. Yeah...Outback Bowl...I know it sucks.

I thoroughly enjoyed being around all of the LSU fans that made the trip over there. I think those that were willing to make that trip are a lot more positive fans and not the negatigers that are encountered on here. I'm not saying those of us that went are better than those that didn't go. Just saying that overall attitude of those fans was much more enjoyable to be around.

I know this doesn't really answer your question but just wanted to share my experience.

In big time sports and as long as you are not some kinda jerk in your winning, nothing, and I mean nothing else matters.

Screw this "they don't win big enough" or "they win ugly" BS.

"Just win baby"!

A serious answer for you:

- There are some that are just plain old fashioned internet trolls. They live for the attention they get by throwing out negative and sometimes provocative posts. This type is not limited to this board or to sports boards in general. They have probably been around since the very first message boards/forums popped up on the internet. Probably around 20-25% of the negative posters.

- There are a few that are fans of other teams. I think primarily these are 2nd tier teams - Tulane, ULL, etc. But probably a few SEC teams' fans in there trying to yank some chains. Probably less than 10% of negative posters.

- Mostly I think it is people who criticize because they know they will never be called upon to actually DO anything or put themselves on the line to implement any of the ideas they throw out.

Kind of cowards I guess you would call them. A similar mindset to the type of tv preacher who s all about pointing out other peoples sins or the little league parents you see berating their kids (if the kid swings at a pitch its "can't you see hat was a ball". If the kid watches the exact same pitch and a strike is called it's "you gotta swing at that".) Or the co-worker who is good at saying what needs to be done but never takes part in doing it themselves. Probably 50-60% of the negative posters.

The rest are a scattering of other reasons.

I never said he does no wrong. Logically speaking who could we hire that is better? Stoops isn't going anywhere neither jumbo nor saban is coming back. Better yet coach the team yourself you have the answers

I went to lsu and graduated during the end of sabans era. i think les overall game management lacks a lot to be desired. i also think he needs to be more of a disciplinarian. it's not like you fans are going to war. I can't take this incredibly serious it isn't war.

A wanna be. Sorry I didn't hug onto any football players nuts or watched all of the games. I was deployed in the mountains of Afghanistan for most the season.

you ask questions that many intelligent, level headed LSU fans have pondered for a few years now. the fact is, no one can give you qualified answers because we don't know these nega's well enough. my theory is that some are just posters from other schools and they think it is cool fricking with LSU fans. obviously, they have no life. they should be out chasing women or inventing something or improving their grades or their careers but they choose to sit on their arse and waste their time. another theory is that they are young LSU fans that feel entitled because they have been given everything their little hearts desire in their brief lifespan and haven't a clue what reality is. they sound like what we used to call "titty babies".

and irrational is an accurate word to describe them.
