We make it so much tougher than it needs to be though. Yeah it did work vs. a team we should've blown out of the stadium. It barely worked. I'm tired of barely beating mediocre football teams with our Victory Formation offense.

I want Les to stop making mistakes. Bring in a QB talent (richt seems to have 2 NFL. Qbs on the roster at all times). Don't want him fired. Don't want a new conference....I'd simply Take a move to the eastern division. Ask yourself this.... Has Miles ever done anything wrong in your mind? If he's never made a mistake then he's the greatest of all time right? The reality is that LSU is the third best in the west and many think that wanting better means you didn't go to LSU and you take football too seriously.

And irrational posters who are overly critical of the football program. And if you want les fired who would you have us coaching this team.

A Pee Wee coach that can run a two minute drill.

A Pee Wee coach that doesn't call a fake punt on 4th and 12 against Bama.

A Pee Wee coach that would a yanked Jefferson and put in Lee

A Pee Wee coach that can at least try to stop a 2 minute offense from marching all the way down the field and into the endzone.

Plenty plenty more.

because there are so many negative things happening in the program.

coaching decisions, losses like OM, losing instate 5 star recruits every year, cost of tix, parking, etc.

When good things happen, we are held hostage for raises, so shouldn't they take a cut when someone fails, ala Frank W?

and when a normal fan makes a comment on something negative...wanna be's like yourself come out and claim someone is a mega tiger. Which is entirely stupid becaus wall of our money makes positive things happen for the program

I just don't agree with the line of thinking that it is "Les Miles or bust." That if we went with another coach we would plunge into the Dinardo years.

We lost Saban, and people thought all was lost. We got a coach in Miles who will go down as the best coach in program history (dispite what others will think and say, his stats prove that). And this is coming from someone who isn't a fan of Les Miles.

But I feel confident we could get a great coach should Miles leave, and we will when that time comes.

We COULD. But it's such a crap shoot. Lots of things have to go our way and timing has to be impeccable. People that want Miles gone at all costs fail to understand the risk and uncertainty of a coaching search. They also fail to see just how impressive what Les has done really is. He's not perfect, but literally not a single coach is.

Why are there so many apologists so quick to make excuses for miles and think he does no wrong no matter how bad a game plan is, refuses to make in game changes, and under achieves on a regular basis.

Agree look at the Arizona St. coach and his time management skills in the bowl game.

Look how Saban managed the Sugar bowl and how motivated his team was.

Every coach has issues and is human. Even Saban has had what 1 undefeated season (2009) as coach and he is maybe the GOAT?

So, you would have preferred losing? No, it's a matter of "Dammit, why aren't you doing it my way!"

People have to make "excuses" for him because of idiots that will bash him even when he does good things. Read my post. Les isn't perfect, but he's done so many great things here and will have been BY FAR the most succesful coach in our history when he retires. That said, we need to get a couple more pieces on NSD and need to show marked improvement next year on defense or I could start getting a tab bit impatient. People need to be fricking realistic. But by all means, let's fire his arse and hire Muschamp or some shite.

I have issues with Miles but It seems some people cant accept the fact that no coach is perfect. Some "fans" are still butt hurt that Miles is still here and is the best coach in LSU history. Some formed an opinion of him after the 2005 Tenn game after Katrina that he would fail and are pissed they are being proven wrong.

I love how being realistic while also supporting the coach who has won more consistenly than any coach in 100+ years of LSU football makes me an "apologist". What the shite is there to apologize for?

Yeah, we definitely would've lost if we wouldn't have run toss dive out of 2 tights 2 backs 68 fricking times.

I would just like to see the offense that worked beautifully all the way up to the Florida game, then magically disappeared.

This. We were a machine on offense and we changed up our game plan for the Florida game due to their defense, and then never went back to looking like the offense that started the year.

It's like Cam Cameron showed what he could, Les overruled him for the Florida game, we won, and that was enough for Les to go back to the conservative, vanilla offense
