Has Porter done well this season with PJ in and out? I haven't watched him closely. Who do you think will back him up?

Probably porter but I could see them moving turner over if he has any experience.

with Faulk back and La'el doing his thing, the left side of that line will be very good.

And on the right the two young bucks (Alexander and Turner) are holding their own. If they continue to develop and play like they have the last 3 weeks the right side will be a force as well, with big Willy backing them up?

My only question was the Center spot. I hope it turns into a strength. I have very few doubts about our blokcing FBs and TEs.

If Barrett Jones becomes a free agent after this season, I say we restructure Boone's contract and get Jones signed, IMO FWIW DIAF DGAF.

Porter will be fine. he's been here a few yrs, has had time to learn and develop physically. he's gotta be our most versatile OL right now, being the backup at C, RG, and RT.

If Mickey Johnson does not crack the 2-deep at DT next year, he should get a look at C - he's got the perfect build for it.

They're more than holding their own. They've been good at times, and dominant at others, with a few hiccups here and there.

Porter will be fine. He just needs to get his arse up a little so Mett doesn't have to bend down so far to take the snap. Like every girl, he's gotta learn "head down, arse up".

Porter has done the job adequately at several different positions during the year. Once he's given the opportunity to be the starting center, I look for his efficiency to rise. He has all the physical tools.

I was reading another site talking about one of our recruits that plays center. That site said one of our freahman RG or RT is being planned to learn center as the back up. I can't remember the name. It also said the high school recruit would be 3rd string, and with an injury, would be the backup.
