I've had roommates that I disliked to this day. Why is it a given that Herman will go after Aranda? He had the same chance last year and didn't do it. Aranda's defense cannot be effective w/o the proper talent pool and Texas doesn't have it.

When LSU hide Culey Hallman we were told give him a chance he is just an OC away from having a successful tenure as coach at LSU? How did that work out?
When LSU last hired from within Mike Archer how did that work out?
History has a funny way of repeating itself. I can definitely see the mistakes of tf the late eighties and early ninties returning to LSU..
This is as bad a hire as the Saints hiring Mike Ditka.
Bubby D got Ditka the job in New Orleans and WWL and ESPN got ED Odgeron the job in Baton Rouge.

Oh come on. CEO is a top notch recruiter and LSU is going to pull out all the stops to keep him.

Hermann could have lured Aranda from Wisconsin or LSU to be DC at Houston?

If Hermann does take the job at Texas, it will not be easy for LSU to keep Aranda.
