First memory I have burned in my brain is Jamie Howard’s pick 6 game against Auburn.
LINK

Side note, local kids these days have no idea about the struggle. My kids have seen two LSU football championships and a Saints Super Bowl. Also, we follow the Cubs, because I’m a WGN kid, and they have a Cubs’ championship as well. They have it so easy.

I think You forget it’s been like 20 years since Booty started playing at LSU haha

1999 is a long time ago

I didnt Play football till I was Much older, so I didnt Follow it as much till I played It, and really fell in love with it (despite sucking) but I started to remember names around like 9

You could say Jamie Howard. I know I was watching the interception game, but I can’t picture it in my head.

Herb Tyler would be the first I have actual memories of...

First game I ever went to, Hodson was QB. However, I didn't really follow LSU football until middle school, so I'm going with Jamie Howard.

Ensminger/Woodley for me, too. Barely. I was in the 8-10 year old age range when they played for LSU.

I do remember thinking Alan Risher had to be one of the all-time greats because he finally beat Bama.
