I want to say JV, just because he went to Barbe like I did but Alley was more of a bruiser, my pick is Alley. It took a lot to get him down.

A shame neither really recovered after their knee injuries.

Broussard all day. Guy was a freight train. ALthough Vincent made a splash, he never had attributes that really impressed me. He seemed slow with little agility.

I graduated with alley at acadiana high. I was also at the game where he broke the single game rushing record. I want to say it was against ole miss. But put aside the fact that i know him personally i would pick alley cat all day!!!

Alley, not close. JV, a one hit wonder. AB was the real deal, he would make a much better Pro RB

Broussard. For the simple fact that he has the single game rushing record at a school well known for running the football.

Dude was unreal when he was healthy/motivated.

Not sure Vincent ever had the drive to compete with that. If he had, we may be talking about him more.

he was hurt in 05 miles first year. I dont think he mentally got back to 100 percent after his injury.

I remember him coming back and just trucking all over ull but then he just couldn't get it back.

Its a shame both of them never returned to form. I do have to give jv credit though sticking in and contributing his sr year after suffering a knee injury in 05. I just wish miles wouldn't have tried to use him at auburn in 06.

Alley Broussard was better..

JV ran behind arguably the best o-line in the SEC

Charles Scott and keiland sat on the bench in that game. Insane to think back on now.

Also, JV tore his knee in the 06 sugar bowl as well.

Yeah, he ran timid and slow after that.

He was my favorite player in 04

I dont remember JV tearing his knee in the sugar bowl. I remember him tearing his acl in the beat down of the old U.

Vincent was unreal for the 03 Sec Championship and BCS Title game but kind of fizzled.

He was always just a serviceable back. We were winning the line of scrimmage. Vincent just ran through the holes. I don't think he could see the field in today's backfield.
