So you have a QB who can run and is 100% accurate hitting open receivers in his highlight video. This gives me a couple of questions:

1. Do you have a RB that can run? Because all I've heard about is Locker.

2. Do you have any all Pac-10 receivers?

3. Those passes in the video, were those all his complete passes for the 2007 season? Cause he only had a 47% completion rate.

4. Who are your D Linemen, and can they get past the likes of Ciron Black and Joseph Barksdale?

5. What about your linebackers? I hope they're strong enough not to get run over by Charles Scott, and fast enough to stop the multi-faceted attack of Jefferson, Trindon, Murphy, Keiland, and Russell Shepard.

6. How far can your kicker kick? Cause that'll determine whether or not UW puts any points on the board.

Please get back to me on this ASAP

Jake Locker

back to the 2007 Tiger defense when we would knock opposing qb's out of the game before halftime....they would always come back the next game...almost like they were scarred to get back in the game asainst the tigers...

Jake will know soon enough God bless his soul..

Chris Polk. Talented but unproven. SC wanted him. Broke his collarbone in 2nd game of season because Losingham started him too early.

2. Do you have any all Pac-10 receivers?

Talented but unproven. All sophomores because Losingham burned about 6 redshirts last year to save his arse and didn't attempt to recruit any in prior years.

3. Those passes in the video, were those all his complete passes for the 2007 season? Cause he only had a 47% completion rate.

He had no WRs in 2007 and many were dropped passes. His accuracy was also horrible. He would make the tough passes and completely miss wide open WRs. Losingham never had a QB coach and Losingham couldn't coach. We'll see a difference this year in his accurracy, or we're doomed.

4. Who are your D Linemen, and can they get past the likes of Ciron Black and Joseph Barksdale?

Probably not.

5. What about your linebackers? I hope they're strong enough not to get run over by Charles Scott, and fast enough to stop the multi-faceted attack of Jefferson, Trindon, Murphy, Keiland, and Russell Shepard.

Outside of QB, LBs are the strength of the team and are very good. Unfortunately, the DBs and line are not good enough so the LBs will be forced to help out and spread themselves too thin. (IMO)

6. How far can your kicker kick? Cause that'll determine whether or not UW puts any points on the board.

Unproven and probably an utter failure due to prior year's efforts on special teams. Hopefully we'll see a change with a JC transfer who may help out.

Losingham didnt' like to use TEs (something that will be different this year.

He did throw to RBs a bit but the WRs were not very talented and could not get separation - which is why you see Locker scrambling a lot... He had one good target who was horribly inconsistent (Marcel Reese).

You could have a class on it. The Board of Regents, the Administration, former (and current) ADs, scandals, media, bad coaching hires, hiring a fired ND coach who was in WAY over his head, scapegoats, and much much more.

would starting him later have somehow made his collarbone stronger? were you gonna line it with adamantium later in the season?

Yes. Let him hit the gym a bit and grow stronger. A true freshman at RB is a tall task that many are not ready to handle right out of the gates...

It's a shame.

What is this 'civil war' between UW fans I've been hearing about?

Thanks for your perspective, Dawg.

Locker will make some plays, and we dont have much film to study since this is the first game for your entire coaching staff.

Locker should provide us a good preview of Tebow, tho I doubt you guys run the option as much as Florida.

Hope we get out with a W, no injuries on either side, and yall go on to kick USC's arse.

mainly, the politics surrounding losingham. the fan base was divided between "negadawgs" and posidawgs" or those who believe uw should have fired him and the leaders that retained him vs those who believe losingham needed more time despite the ongoing destruction of the program. also, disagreement as to who is responsible for the mess incluing your prior guy, Emmert.

Tyrone and his iron grip on the program really divided the fanbase. at this point, only winning will cure it.

Thanks for your updates and filling us in on Washington's program. Locker looks like he ran for his life a bunch. I think more of the same will happen Saturday night. Good luck to you guys. After this game, I wish you all luck the rest of the way.

exactly. for example, in the final game of 2007 we played at Hawaii on ESPN. locker did everything to win that game and we still lost, yet on the final play, locker throws a would-be TD pass to reese who not only dropped it right off his numbers, but he kicked it up in the air and into the hawaii defender's hands for the pick with 8 seconds left and i believe 2 downs left.
