Adams and Jefferson aren't going to get beat out for the starting spots. That's ridiculous. Battle will be for back up spots between Monroe, Battle, and Thompson. QB of the D will be Beckwith with Adams and Jefferson also providing leadership deep.

It's not as basic as "this is your area, cover it". It's a hybrid scheme of zone and man looks that Saban has been using at Alabama for years. They give up long touchdown passes all the time because a player reads the play wrong.
