Who else runs the toss dive besides LSU?

I am in no way bashing the toss dive because I think it's effective to a certain degree. I'm just curious because I think I heard one of the Texas Bowl announcers say that LSU is the only team in college or the pros to run the toss dive. Did anybody else hear this or did I not hear him correctly?

I've Green Bay run a similar play once or twice the last couple of years. Outside of that, I haven't seen it anywhere else.

Johnny Jones is considering adding it.

The pistol formation would be more effective.

UGA use to but they gave it up after seeing it is pointless.

As a staple of their offense no one but other teams have run it.

Green Bay and New England have run it this season

During the bowl, Palmer daid that no one else tosses it. Only LSU, he thinks its to get the back a head start

The Miles hatred is strong in this one. A naval being able to have better vision sooner in a play is not pointless. Plus maybe LF prefers it and is more comfortable that way. Whatever the case is 1,900 yards is not pointless.

QB can also seal the backside backer which becomes a numbers advantage for the offense. That's why they run it

my friends and I played a drinking game regarding how many times we ran the toss dive...We were pretty wasted by the end of the first quarter

It's our most effective run play. No problem with it.
