We've had trouble with bumming a login on ESPN because Cox will automatically log in using our Wifi Cox credentials. Which would be awesome if we paid for cable.

Definitely looking into getting SlingTV Orange + Sports add-on for football season as it's by far the cheapest and we probably won't watch much else live.

Well, this is very bad advice if you are wanting to watch any games on ESPN, ESPN2, or SECN (you know, the channels LSU will play on).

Everything that I have looked at tells me that you can't just purchase ESPN+ With the SEC network live stream without buying either Sling, Hulu, or YouTube. Unless toy want to get AT&T U-verse, Dish or Direct TV. They have it where you can't just buy the ESPN and SEC package live stream

This is correct. ESPN+ will give you access to ESPN+ content only. That does not include the ESPN cable family of channels, which also includes SECN. The person that told you to do that doesn't have a clue what they are talking about.

One bad arse sports, premium channels and network TV package for $5 a month.

I don't know where here is, but I live in Houston and it should be available where you live

Showtime East

Sky Sports

It is Sports24

He has multiple crypto addresses for different currencies. I use "Coinbase" to buy Bitcoin and send it to him. The first month I bought 10 dollars worth and paid him between $5 and $6. The next month when I went to pay I had $8 of bitcoin.

Youtube TV will have just about everything.

I left YouTube TV on principle and will never go back.

When I switched to YouTube TV there were a lot of channels missing. I would have just stayed with DirecTv but I found Philo TV which has History channel, DIY, A&E, FYI, Vice, Discovery, Science, Destination, American Heroes, AXS, and other channels that I didn't really care about.

So I was paying whatever the amount for YTT back then and $20 for Philo and had every thing I had with DirecTv besides the premium channels that I had to pay extra.

So here I am paying $20 bucks for 60 something channels for Philo - no sports or locals. AND freaking YouTube adds 8 channels (all of which Philo already had) and was going to jack up the price $15 dollars. WTF

I was paying for the channels already. Was only paying $20 for those channels plus 54 more channels and YouTube is going to charge me $15 for 8 channels.

I found Sports24 and cancelled YouTube all on the same day I got the "please cancel us" email from YouTube. In a couple years YTT will be more expensive than cable

And it may be.

I have been with the service since Oct 12th 2020 and have had no trouble. Well, besides him changing his paysites a lot at the beginning - from Paypal a couple few months to Patreon then to Skrill and finally settling with the crypto-currency.

The crypto was a pain at first until I found out about Coinbase. Now I just set the calendar on my phone to remind me to pay before the account expires. I have badass TV wherever I go as long as I have my phone or tablet and service or Wi-Fi.

I got my tablet from T-Mobile just to cast to the TV so I don't have to use my phone or laptop. The tablet was $30 plus 3 months of unlimited service at $15 a month for 3 months. I am about to cancel the service because I only use Wi-Fi. I just wanted the $75 Joy II tablet.

I also have someone's login and password for Dish Network ESPN from when the Sports24 guy first went to crypto exclusively. They have the sports pack and a couple of movie channels. When I sent him the 24Sports login and password he freaked out. And he says his wife uses it more than him.

So I use his ESPN login and their family uses my TV service. I gave their son the login stuff so he can watch UFC PPV. He also watched the Mike Tyson exhibition match.

I don't even care if I watch programs on the ESPN app or Sports24. They are exactly the same except the ESPN app is through the Roku and doesn't tie up the tablet, phone or computer. It is also nice to have the on-demand events on the ESPN app.

Either way I am covered. I have 2 TV's in the living room right now and have been watching the heck out of some little league world series regionals on the Sports24 site because most of the games have been on ESPN+

First I have heard of Vidgo it looks like the best deal for a sports package. Doing some research it appears there is a lot of buffering issues. Any first hand experience with the buffering issues that everyone is complaining about?

It is and it isn't even close. I almost switched to it last year after dropping the increasingly expensive Youtube TV. It has SECN+ which covers LSU baseball and softball.

I extensively studied the online streaming services. I had already had YouTube, didn't like the way Sling offers an entertainment package OR A sports package unless you pay more than cable prices for both. Fubu is okay but more expensive.

If I had switched then or had to do it today I would definitely go with Vidgo. It is only $40 a month, MAY be??? the only one that offers SECN+ which is very important for baseball/softball/gym/etc fans. And has a great channel lineup to boot. If it was available when I left DirecTv I wouldn't have had to get both youtube TV AND Philo just to cover the important cable channels.

eta: have no idea about the buffering and don't know anyone who ever had Vidgo.

It's getting to where everyone I know has different services and share everything. I have HBO Max, Netflix, AT&T TV and maybe Hulu unless that is my old one and I left it on the Roku after canceling and don't pay for any of it. People have my Philo and Sports24. But anyway I watched Captain America on Netflix and an episode or 2 of "Warrior" on HBO Max and that is it. I have TV OVERLOAD going on. Usually when I watch a movie I just go the the free site - 123 Movies.

This should open to the donation page. he now has a link to buy an Amazon card and pay that way. No matter if you pay with crypto or Amazon you will need to email him and give him your username and password.

sports24

In subsequent months if you use crypto you will just need to email your username. you actually don't have to because you can send a message with the payment but I always do just to make sure he gets it.

I have had it expire on a Saturday and on a Sunday during football season. That sucks but the guy seems to always be there and I haven't missed a minute of an LSU football, basketball, baseball, softball or Cincinnati Bengals game.

Just checked out the Amazon card and that looks like the easiest way to do it, unless you already have a crypto account.

If you join, look around the site and let me know what you think. I'll think about it and give you a couple things/tips that I have learned and encountered in my time on the site.

I have had it on an off for the last year or 2 and have never had buffering issues. Will probably turn on again and it also has NFL network as well.

My favorite is during baseball season asking what channel is SECN+

I get why people are still confused only going on a decade of it being like this.

Update on the tablet cancelation.

I called last night to go back to paying $40 per month with Metro PCS which is T-Mobile. My $40 plan was unlimited talk and text with 10 gig of high speed data.

While I was talking to the representative she put me on hold quite a few times. I didn't give a crap because I was watching and interested in the Texas little League world series game. She was very adamant about thanking me for holding and allowing her to put me on hold.

So anyway,at the end of the call she asked if I would like a $20 discount. (Well hell yeah). Then she asked if I would like to get unlimited data instead of 10 gig for the same price. (Well hell yeah). AND I also got 10 gig of hotspot data.
