There will be quite a few sophomores playing critical roles this coming season. We can debate on which one will be most vital to our success, but I want to know which one y'all think will make the biggest impact on the 2016 season. So, who ya got?

I debated between four different players, but my vote goes to Arden Key. I think he will lead our team in sacks this year. I think he's gonna be a beast in Aranda's defense. He looked great as a freshman and that was in Kevin Steele's weak defense. With another year of experience, along with another year in our strength and conditioning program, I'm expecting HUGE things from Key this season. Aranda will put him in a much better position to succeed , than Steele ever could.

Kevin Toliver. He will lock down one half of the field so other folks can make plays ala Morris Claiborne.

The fact that the first 5 answers were 5 different people shows how stacked with young talent this team is. Oh and my answer is key

It's becoming apparent to me that the 2015 recruiting class might be the best in LSU history, even though it was only ranked sixth (I think).

Arden Key is definitely the best of the bunch so far. In fact, he's the only guy I would say projects in the top half of the first round, whereas 2014 has three in Fournette, Adams, and Malachi.

But just look at the top seven guys in that class. There's not a miss among them.
Toliver, Tyron Johnson, Maea, Guice, Donte, Key,and Weathersby.
All of these guys have All-SEC potential right now. And if you peruse the rest of that class you notice very few busts, several lower ranked players who contributed as freshmen, and lot's of potentials who are at positions that need time to develop.

Sorry to hijack, but how is Isaiah Washington progressing? He seemed to have made quite an impression last year on the coaches, but I've yet to hear him mentioned since Aranda got here.

Kevin Toliver might be the least talked about Superstar we have ever had.

Tolliver becomes the CB on the team by the end of the season.

might still be forthcoming after this season. Not many balls and a lot of competition.

I'd probably go Toliver or Clapp.

Hard to say just 1...If they all contribute we win a lot of games going away though.

Darius Guice - Will obviously get a bunch of touches, plus returning kicks. Explosive play opportunity ever time he touches it.

Arden Key - Will be a monster in the pass rush game. My only question for him (and it may not even be a problem) is pass defending from that linebacker spot.

Kevin Toliver 2 - We barely heard KT2's name last year. And that's a good thing. Most of the time when you hear a lockdown corner's name, its for something bad more than something good. He's gonna quietly sit on his island over there and lock down other team's top receiving options and allow lots of other guys to make plays.

Dante Jackson - Might be tasked with be the other cover corner, but I'd rather see him as an undersized safety or in the nickel, roaming the field making plays. Him and Tre White will wreak havoc this year.

Will Clapp - Offensive lines win ball games. If Clapp has a great year, the offensive line will be very strong.

Tony Weathersby - Offensive lines win ball games. Same thing here.

Maea Teuhuma - Offensive lines win ball games. Same thing here.

Tyron Johnson - Will be tough to get touches having guys like Dural and Dupre in front him. He should take over the 3rd receiver spot. I'd like to see Dupre go inside to the slot and Johnson/Chark go outside. 4 absolute horses are receiver.

Like it was said earlier, having this many guys with legitimate chances to make huge impacts as True Sophomores is crazy. So much talent. If they put it together, we are gonna have a special year.

A lot of potential contributors. Hopefully, there are too many contributors to make the outcome obvious.
