Alleva should never be allowed to make another coaching hire. Guy has botched 3 Basketball HC hires. We still don't know about the Will Wade hire for another few years. Now he is has totally set the football program back several years with this blunder. Not too mention when he ruined the Duke lacrosse HC career after that debacle. Alleva better be shown the door after we get embarrassed by Auburn and Alabama.

If we lose to Florida and Auburn badly, which I'm fairly certain we will, I can't see how you don't at least fire Joe immediately and start looking for another AD. They put themselves in a terrible position by giving Orgeron a fricking buyout, when he clearly was so desperate for this job that he would have taken even less money and a contract with zero protection. Joe is to blame for this bullshite and he should already be fired honestly, but if they lose those two games in a row after losing to Troy and he still has a job, I would be completely speechless.

If we get the crap beat out of us Florida and Auburn then lose to Ole Miss that could do it

The idea that you can place an interim coach in permanent charge of a program, as long as you give him good assistants, is nonsense.
I disagree if that coach has previous HC experience. The issue is that Coach O does not have any experience running a program at any level.

Troy opened the coffin, a loss to Florida will close the coffin and a loss to Auburn will nail it shut.

That's realistic.

After losing 42-0 to 'Bama, we'll lose to Arky at home. That's it.

Lose to Bama in embarrassing fashion and it's over for O.

63-0 and O doesn't make it to the next day

Florida. It will come on the heels of Troy and if we see the same pitiful effort we've seen lately and lose, then this will be the "it" game.

You would not be alone. I'm thinking that it then might be time to re-evaluate any kind of expectations for LSU football and the school's administration. In other words, they aren't serious about LSU being a real football power. They just want to give the fans promises, bread and circuses - and continue to take our money, spent for at best, a mediocre product. Until we the fans finally wise up, quit spending, quit coming, and the loudest sound you'll hear in Death Valley on Saturdays would become the crickets.

Troy is the beginning of the end for Alleva...he needs to go and if F. King is unwilling to do the deed, get rid of F. King immediately as well...

BTW, there is a Fire Joe Alleva Immediately Facebook group...up to 2600 + members in 3 days...

I think the wheels come completely off after Auburn. I think the dirty laundry starts getting aired thru social media or other sources.

I think O tries to hide the players and restricts access to keep things hidden.

This is when I believe Alleva gets pulled into the mess and the attention turns to him.

We may get a small break with Ole Miss, but after Alabama, ohhhh boy.

not sure....I felt we looked OK against BYU but I didn't have a great feeling leaving that game.

State showed me what I needed to know.

I dont know enough about the university and how it is doing to think Alexander needs to go.

I dont really think that it is his job to insure that the football team is competitive.

Really? Wasn't your line just a week ago that we needed to wait to see what happens at Florida?

Where have you been hiding? With Manking and the other clowns?

Too bad it took you so long to figure out what some of us knew months ago. Alleva is a clown and O is in way over his head.

A&M...because its the last one. No bowl and no other games... Just the offseason. That's when Alleva will be shown the door...

I agree with you completely. They have to know they're flirting with a massive amount of income reduction and that hurts not only athletics but academics as well. We'll see what they do, but that 9 million they owe Orgeron at the end of the year isn't a lot compared to what they stand to lose if the football team starts taking a shite every season. Fans aren't the same as they used to be and if they aren't winning they won't show up. That's a sad reality but people are different nowadays.
