Well, it's Wednesday and he is still here so I didn't list Troy.

I have it pegged as Auburn or Ole Miss. We likely are upside down in W/L's after Auburn. That is a terrible optic and reality for a proud LSU program.

A loss against Ole Miss may cause the pitchforks to come out.

It's Troy and Coach O isn't going anywhere regardless our record this year. That 12 million dollar buyout guarantees that. I'd take a loss to any SEC team over a loss to an inferior Troy team.

It was Mississippi State. 37 to 7! A lot of folks didn't know it - some still don't - but the Orgeron experiment ended that night.

He is not a Head Coach. He does not have executive skills. At most he can serve as an interim coach because all the process wheels will keep turning for a little while. The idea that you can place an interim coach in permanent charge of a program, as long as you give him good assistants, is nonsense.

In all seriousness, Troy is the only acceptable answer. That said, I wonder how the BOS can breathe with their heads up their collective asses?...

should have been after the Miles debacle
should have been after the O hire
should have been after the Troy loss

This clown will be sticking around till the end of the season. It would make sense to cut bait now and run an interim for the remainder of the year but that only makes sense. When has LSU ever done anything along the lines of rational thinking?

As in the case with Orgeron and LSU, some experiments are doomed for failure before they ever really begin.

My real ire is directed at Alleva (hence the thread) and how clear it was to me, both then and now, that this was a terrible hire destined to fail.

I truly believe the effort the team brings to Florida will go a long ways in determining the rest of the season, potential coaching changes, and will directly impact some of these can't miss NFL prospects. Newsflash...no gm or owner wants to spend millions on poor attitudes that quit at the first sign of trouble.

Another home loss after Auburn would be the final straw

Derek And The PR Machine would excuse Bama, Rebs, and Rocky Top bc they're road losses

It should be AU

Wouldn't it be fitting that Joe gets fired after AU like Les?
