Coach Miles was pimping himself to a western division rival for cash and extensions, which we always caved to and probably led to his hard headed my way or no way attitude. Where was his loyalty then?

Exactly. Dude played us and we caved and all of a sudden now he is the venerable old statesman that is rudely being pushed out.

Good riddance Les, thanks for your service time to move on.

No one believed that to be real and we all laughed at Alleva for falling for it. No one blamed Miles for getting whatever money he could. We blamed Alleva for not laughing him out of the office and telling him that if he was stupid enough to trade LSU for Arkansas, then he as too stupid to be LSU's coach. Alleva was the stupid one, as it turns out.

les miles hasn't been worth a shite since he got another extension and raise because of the arkansas opening a few years ago...the fricking arkansas job.

i was mad when we gave him that raise and wish we woulda called his bullshite and let him walk if that's what he wanted to do. fricking shyster.

i was hoping beyond hope that he would actually leave, but i guess better late than never. 13, 14 and 15. what the hell has miles done since he got his latest raise and extension, because ya know, the fricking arkansas job was open.

a post i made yesterday.

what idiot wouldn't take advantage of the opportunity to secure your future when you can? thats the name of that game, because a coach never knows when the wolves will come calling just as they have this year with CLM. He did the right thing, and I don't blame him, or any coach.

yeah, but alleva got his arse back by handcuffing assistant contracts. if chavis was here this year, then miles is probably coming back in 2016 because we wouldn't have gotten blown out 3 straight times.

if not for chavis, miles woulda fired in 2010 because he woulda went 8-5 from 08-10.

no one is blaming him but acting like he is some kind of saint in the process and how dare LSU push him out.

Les has turned our program into a keg party for his buddies, hired krags, hires cam, brings back BDP. its like a nice keg party at the expense of LSU

So you're upset that people are sad to see him go? Nobody is telling you how to feel. Even Les has refrained from campaigning for his job.

Get over it if you can't handle people having different feelings and thoughts than you.

No problem with that. It was business. Just like LSU is making a decision now for their future.

His move then help some accept the current situation for what it is.

No reason to cry for CLM

This. Les has every right to negotiate a deal and use his leverage at the time. LSU has every right to go in another direction if they think Les is under performing under the terms. Posters on here are completely ignorant about the business and/or are clouded by emotion when analyzing this business transaction.

Arky would have been stupid for taking him because Miles is just 6-5 against them and has been blown out by them the last two years.
